Return to Torra
(Part 2 of Blood Binds the Distance)
By
Miss Van Wham
The two moons of the distant planet of Torra shone through the cloud infested sky as two cloaked figures hurried their way towards the wooden doors of an old stone mausoleum. The larger of the two walked slowly and stared around the cemetery in fear as the smaller one walked with grace and dignity. The two stopped short in front of the tome of their dead member’s final resting-place. One of the persons pulled the hood of her cloak back and revealed her gray hair tied neatly in a tight bun on the top of her head with jewels and gold thread braided in the hair. Her long ears pointed upward and her dark red eyes stared intensely at the two ancient wooden doors that stood motionless in front of her. She moved her aged hand inside the large sleeve of her cloak and pulled back a rusted key. The handle of the key was shaped in a skull with black jewels as its eyes, surrounded by eight spider legs that resembled the stone carving on the walls and doors of the tome. The old elf crept slowly towards the doors with the key extended far away from her. She slid it into the mouth of the stone carving, causing its eyes to glow. The door began to crack and creek open, revealing the marble coffins inside.
"Excellent!" She shrieked.
The two entered the building and moved along the long hallway with coffins on each side of them. Cobwebs and dust covered the walls and windows, making the atmosphere appear from an old si-fi movie. They stopped at the end of the hallway in front of a coffin larger than all the others in the room did. The black sarcophagus had a carving that almost resembled the other carvings on the outside walls, but this one was different. The carving was of a beautiful female elven head with long flowing, white marbled hair. Her body was completely that of an arachnid. Red jewels were her eyes and shone in the little moonlight that peered inside the tome.
"The temple of our beloved goddess, move the lid Jahard!" She hissed to her companion.
The large figure placed his hands on the marble top and began to push with all his might as the one ton slab of black marble moved slowly to the side. With one final push, Jahard pushed the slab off the coffin, the aging elf peered inside. The coffin did not hold a body, but steep stairs going down. The elf lifted her hand and with a slight motion, a ball of red flames appeared in the palm.
"Help me." She said as Jahard picked her up gently and placed her on the first step.
"Follow me, my son."
The two gradually descended, with the magic flame lighting their way down the spiral staircase.
"Are you sure of this plan Matron?" Jahard asked.
"We have not heard a word from Malice since she had left us. I must find out if she is with us, or gone. If she is departed, the sword must be retrieved and given to a new Champion. The mighty House of Dragon will not survive without the sword."
"But mother, if Lola said was truth, then perhaps Malice would not wish to return to this life?"
The Matron turned around and slapped her son across his face.
"Think not that my spiteful spawn, will you take the word of a prostitute? Malice will return to us. I will make sure of that."
"But how mother? If her brother lives, she will wish to stay with him."
The stairs stopped to a large room, giant cobwebs cluttered the scene. The Matron extended her arms out and with a single word, "Light!" all the torches in the room lit up. There were many different statues, carvings, and paintings of dreadful times. One was of black skinned elves were being driven down a cave by white skinned elves, another was the black skins killing all the white skins. Statues of elves killing elves stood in silence as the two made their way towards the altar table. The table was stained with centuries of mortal sacrifices. Behind the altar was an enormous statue of an arachnid with a female elven head. The old matron moved towards it and smiled. She knelt in front of the statue, holding her arms up high.
"Jahard, bring me the heart."
Jahard opened his cloak and took out a black silk bag from within. He handed it to his mother and stepped back. The Matron opened the bag and stuck her hand inside, she then pulled out the bloody heart.
"Good, it is still warm."
She laid the heart onto the altar and raised her hands up to the deformed statue.
"Lloth! Goddess of darkness and death! Mother of evil! Great one! I, Matron Tirra, High Priestess of you, Mighty Lloth! Call to you great one! I need your guidance most evil one! I beg of thee, hear me! Hear the cry of your most devoted servant!"
The heart began to smoke as flames spurted around it, Tirra smiled at the sight. A blinding light flashed before them as a hideous creature appeared before them. The creature looked like a high pile of molted yellow wax with one large red eye in the middle. Four long tentacles with barbs on the ends flayed around wildly. The Matron and her son bowed down to the creature.
"MATRON TIRRA, IT HAS BEEN AGES SINCE THE WORD OF LLOTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN TO HER CHILDREN AFTER SHE HAD DESTROYED THE FAIRY ELVES AND CLAIMED TORRA FOR HER CHILDREN. BUT THEE, MATRON, HAVE TAUGHT THE WORD OF LLOTH TO ALL THY CHILDREN AND RAISE THEM WITH LLOTH’S GUIDANCE. THOU HAVE PLEASED THE GODDESS WITH THOU HOLY WAYS. LLOTH HAS HEARD THOU CRIES, SHE ANSWERS. WHAT BE THY AID?"
"Hand maiden of mighty Lloth! My Champion has not returned from her mission eight moons past. We know not if she lives. We need her to return to us as the Champion, but we do not know how."
"LLOTH KNOWS OF THE CREATURE THOU SPEAKS OF, SHE TOO HAS PLEASE OUR GODDESS WITH HER BLOOD THIRST. SHE HAS SERVED THE GODDESS WELL. FEAR NOT SERVANT OF THE DARK ONE, THY DAUGHTER STILL LIVES. LLOTH HAS GIVEN WORD TO THEE THAT MALICE SHALL RETURN TO HER WAYS ONCE FORTH. BUT, SHE MUST BE GUIDED BACK."
The creature handed a small black bag to Tirra, she bowed the creature.
"WITH THIS ITEM, MALICE WILL RETURN TO TORRA TO FINISH HER REVENGE UPON THE THIEVES. SHE WILL REMEMBER WHY SHE HAD BECOME THE EXECUTION OF DEATH AND SEEK ALL WHO’S SOULS BELONGING TO HER. LLOTH HAS AIDED THEE. MAY LLOTH’S HAND REST UPON THY HEART."
Another flash of light appeared and with it, the creature had disappeared. Jahard stared at his mother.
"Mother, what was that creature?"
"That my lowly son, is a Yochol, the handmaiden of Lloth our goddess. It seems we are still in her favor."
The Matron opened the small bag and glared inside. She smiled a malice grin as she brought out a heart shaped locket attached to a gold chain.
"I have not seen this in many years." Tirra brought the locket to Jahard, who was completely confused. She lifted the locket by the chain as he looked closely at it, there was a carving on the front.
"Who does it belong to mother and how will that help us retrieve Malice?"
"Were you always without smarts boy? This insignia is the marking of the Biker Mice from Mars. The home planet of Malice, you fool!" The Matron opened the locket and smiled once more. Inside was a photo of a tan-colored Martian mouse with a handsome smile on his face. His green uniform was well warn and dirty. His black shades were pulled up on his head so that his red eyes could be seen. The other side held another photo, this one was of a white furred Martian female with long white hair. She smiled with glee and her blue eyes shone. She held a Martian child on her lap, his fur was tanned and his eyes were blue. As he smiled with his mother, his two newly grown front teeth glowed white. The matron closed the locket gently to hide the faces inside.
"I do miss that little one. He was a smart child, and a good child." Tirra said as she wiped a tear from her eye, "May his little soul rest in Lloth’s caring arms." She turned to her son, "Lloth has given me the way to bring our beloved executioner back to us. But I need a messenger. Call Dumas, I have a favor to ask of him."
*************************************
The yellow sun gleamed down to the planet of earth as four Martian Motors roared along the country road. It was a typical day in the life of the biker mice, except that a very special member had reunited with them.
Throttle and Modo took the lead with their massive machines as Vinnie, with Charley on his bike, was behind with the black bike behind him.
"Vinnie can’t catch us now!" Yelled Modo.
"Hey Vinnie, There’s no way that I’m paying for lunch this time!" Throttle called back.
"No problem Sweetheart!" Vinnie yelled as his biker flashed with incredible speed and raced in front of the line.
"I am the fastest mamajama in the universe!" Vinnie cried out.
"Someone is going to knock you off that high horse of yours Vinnie" Charley commented.
"Sorry Charley-baby, But there isn’t a soul alive that can beat the Vin-man." He answered back.
"Oh no?" Charley said as she notices a shadow flying over them.
"IN COMING!" they heard a female’s voice call down.
All four looked up to see the massive black sports bike glided over them and land seven lengths in front of Vinnie and Charley. The Driver was dressed in an old pair of Charley’s jeans and Throttle’s old black leather Biker Mice jacket. Her white hair had grown long again and flowed from under her black helmet. She turned to Vinnie and stuck her middle finger at him, then the biker raced even faster causing the Biker Mice to loose sight of the biker and bike.
"She’s your sister all right!" Chuckled Throttle.
"I can catch up to her before we hit the city limits." Said Vinnie.
"Ah betcha a new tranny and a back tire that ya can’t!" Said Modo.
"I got a new crescent wrench and two turbo thrusters to throw in Vincent." Said Throttle.
"Oh yeah? Deal! But when I win, I want a paid holiday in the Bahamas with Charley."
"Sure."
"No problem bro, if you win."
Vinnie revved his engine, "Charley, you go with Modo. I got a race to win!"
Modo grabbed Charley by her waist with his tail and slid her behind him.
"AAAAOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!" Vinnie shouted as he raced towards the City of Chicago.
"He’ll never make it." Said Throttle.
"Maybe he will this time." Said Charley.
"There’s no way Vinnie,ll beat Chassie, her bike’s made for dynamic speeds!" Said Modo.
They chased after Vinnie, hoping that what they said was true. They reached the ‘Last Chance Garage’ in record timing.
"See," Said Vinnie, "Chass isn’t here! I beat her!"
"I don’t think so bro." Throttle said as he opened the garage door and revealed the black bike with its gray blanket over it. The sound of Meatloaf played loudly upstairs, as the four smelled something good cooking.
"That’s a new tranny, a back tire, a crescent wrench, and two turbo thrusters you owe us Vincent." Throttle concluded.
"Aw man! I though for sure I was going to beat her this time!" Vinnie wined.
"You couldn’t beat me even if Black’s motor had fallen out and exploded all over the street fly-boy!" Chassie said as she walked down the stairs with a spatula in her left hand. Throttle gazed at her, Chassie’s tight blue jeans and tight black tank top curved around her womanly features. His heart thumped with each of her steps as she came down the stairs. Her shoulder length hair bounced with each motion as the tan mouse stared. Chassie stopped in front of Vinnie.
"I beat you every time you try to race me, haven’t you learned by now that you can’t beat me?"
"I’m going to beat you one of these day little sis, you’ll see." Vinnie huffed.
Chassie laughed, "I beat you at the Grand National Canyon Race three times in a row!"
"Um, I know all of us enjoy this little competition between the two of you, but what smells so good?" Asked Charley.
Chassie smiled, "I hope you don’t mind guys, but I’m starting to getting sick of eating hot-dogs everyday. I found a receipy in a cookbook and decided to make something different."
"What? You’re sick of hot-dogs? How can you be sick of hot-dogs?" Asked Vinnie.
"There’s nothing wrong with trying something new Vincent." Throttle said as he leaned against his handlebars, "So, what did ya cook up for us Babe?"
"Well, I thought that a steak stir-fry would nice with some egg rolls, chicken balls, fried rice, chicken wings, sweet and sour pork, and a big strawberry shortcake for desert would be nice."
Everyone applauded but Vinnie.
"Everyone knows you can’t cook. What did you do? Order out?"
Chassie smiled, "Of course not my dear brother. I know how to cook, I just read the instructions. It’s easy when you know what to do."
"Something's not right here." Vinnie said.
"Yer were here for that long?" Asked Modo.
"No, I started it before we left this afternoon. I just have to fry the rice around and it’ll be done."
Fizzing sounds came from the kitchen, Chassie panicked as she raced upstairs with Charley and Vinnie behind her.
"Oh NO! My egg Fu young!" Throttle and Modo heard Chassie yell from upstairs.
"She’s full of surprises." Said Modo.
"Yeah, she sure is." Throttle agreed.
Modo stared at his friend, Throttle’s gaze never left Chassie even after she left the room.
"Um Throttle, ya don’t carry a torch for her still, do ya?" Modo couldn’t help but ask.
"Modo, it’s hard to forget a beauty and brain like Chassie. Having her back with us has brought up so many wonderful memories."
"Vinnie still doesn’t know about you and her, doesn’t he?"
"Nope. I guess I could never tell him something like that. It’s his little sister, he’s very protective of her even if he doesn’t show it."
"Do ya think that you’ll be getting back together with her?"
"It’s her choice. If she wants me, I’m hers."
"What about Carbine? Ah thought you two were going to be an item."
"There’s too much bad blood between us. Besides, Carbine was always a little too demanding for me and the fact that she was with the army and I was with the Freedom Fighters didn’t help. It was easy to fall in love with Chassie. I missed her so much."
"Why didn’t ya ask her to stay? She would’ve ya know."
Throttle turned to Modo, "She would’ve? How do you know that?"
"She told me. We’ve been friends ever since she was eight. Ah guess ya didn’t know."
"Well, I knew you were friends, but I didn’t know how close."
Modo smiled, "She told me everything."
Throttle grinned, "Do you think you could ask her something for me, Big-guy?"
Modo shook his head, "Sorry, Ah ain’t getting involved in this."
"Throttle, Modo. Supper’s ready." Charley called down.
"Good, Ah’m starving!" Modo declared.
"I’ve always wanted to try something different." Said Throttle.
"Bull," Whispered Modo to him, "ya just want to eat it ‘cause Chassie made it."
"So?" Said Throttle, "I’ll beat you up there bro."
"Not a chance!"
Chassie sat on the roof’s ledge of the garage, looking up at the pale full moon. Her thoughts wondered about aimlessly. She was unaware of Throttle walking up behind her.
"Penny for your thoughts." He said to her.
Chassie turned around and smiled at him, "Oh, just thinking of stupid stuff. Nothing important."
Throttle sat beside her, he handed her an opened bottle of root beer.
"That was a great supper, Chassie. Where did you learn to cook like that?’’ Throttle asked.
"Mr. Wong’s Chinese Drive Through. I hid the packages in the Dumpster next door. I bought the food yesterday and hid them in the vegetable bin in the fridge. You guys would never go in there so it was a safe place." Chassie answered.
"You still have a devilish mind." Throttle chuckled.
"Hey, I just love to see Vince’s face when I prove him wrong."
"Yeah but you didn’t really cook it so he was right."
"He couldn’t prove it and I did really cook it. The food was on the stove, I pushed it around with a spatula, so I cooked it."
"All right, you win." Throttle said as he gazed into the starlit sky.
"It’s a beautiful night out tonight." He said.
"Yeah, all the stars are out, shinning brightly." She agreed.
Throttle turned to her, "Shinning just for you."
She stared back at him, "Please don’t start."
"Start what?"
"Throttle, come on now. I’m not an idiot. I know what you’re trying to do. It’s not going to work this time."
"What? I’m not doing anything!" Said Throttle.
"Yes you are and I don’t need this right now!" She yelled.
"What is up with you Chassie? You’re not your old self."
"I’ll never be my old self Throttle. Can’t you just forget it?"
Throttle grabbed her hands and faced her, "When you first came here, you were someone else. Someone who liked to kill people. You weren’t like that back on Mars. You were a caring Doctor that took care of our people during the war. For some reason, you became this monster called Malice. Something big must have happened to you to start hating life. You never answered our questions, you avoid the topic all together! You’re closed to us Chassie, and it’s hard on us, especially on Vincent. We want to help you, but you won’t let us. We all love you Chassie. We can tell that something is hurting you."
Chassie looked down to the street below, "I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t even want to remember it. Just leave it in the past where it belongs!"
"I can’t. It has something to do with me, doesn’t it? I see it every time you look at me. It’s like you’re trying to find something in me."
"Don’t get your ego in knots Throttle, you’re just seeing things."
"No I’m not. Is it because Carbine and I got together after you left the base? My god Chassie! You took off as fast as your bike could take you when the base asked to have you! I’m still a man with needs Chassie! I didn’t know if you were coming back! You know I loved you then, and I still do today! I never forgot about you. You’re a part of me Chassie."
"You don’t know how right you are." Chassie whispered.
"Chassie, me and Carbine were childhood sweethearts. But after she joined the army and I joined the FFs, you took my mind off of everything that was going on! When I was in your arms, I felt like nothing else mattered. When I thought you were dead, it felt like a piece of me had died. I never got over that."
"I felt the same way when I heard that the Plutarkians captured you three. I just wanted to die." "said Chassie in a low tone.
"Do…do you still love me?" Throttle asked.
"With all my heart. " She said in a low voice, "That’s why when I got here I block your mind, so you didn’t have to see what I became. I didn’t want you to know that I’m a bloodthirsty assassin. "
Throttle gently raised her head with his hand and looked deeply in her blue eyes, "There is nothing you could do that would make me stop loving you. We are bonded forever, we are soul mates. We are one. I will love you till the end of time and even after."
Chassie looked away, "There is something that would make you hate me. If I became the Executioner, I would become a killer once more. I don’t think that you would be able to stop me. The evil in the sword is powerful. It’s like a drug, I needed to kill everyday just to feel right."
"Do you need it still? Do you feel you have to kill to feel normal now?"
"A little, I still feel the urge to kill, the sword calls to me in my dreams."
"Then get rid of the dammed thing! You don’t need it."
"I can’t get ride of it! It’s bonded to me until I die! There is only one way, but I have to kill again and I don’t want to kill anymore. I’m so tired of it."
"Them promise me something Chassie." Throttle said as he embraced her in his arms, "Promise me that you’ll never use the sword again."
Chassie looked into his eyes, "I promise, I’ll never use the sword again."
"Hey guys!" Throttle and Chassie heard Vinnie call from the door, "Want to go to a movie?"
"Do you?" Asked Throttle to Chassie.
"Nah, you go with them. I need some time alone right now." She replied.
"Are you sure? We could cuddle in the darkness."
"I’m sure, I’ll take a rain check, OK?" She said.
"OK then, next time. I’ll take you to someplace special." Throttle said as he started to walk towards the door, "And Chassie," he called back, "I love you."
Chassie Smiled, "I love you too."
And with that, Throttle disappeared down the stairs. Chassie returned to her gaze of the moon, humming away.
"I think I’m going to like it here." She said as she heard the sound of the Martian bike revving and leaving the garage.
"Yep, I think it’s time to move on and forget the past. I can start a new life here with Throttle. Vinnie and Modo would be happy. Charley is a nice girl, I really wouldn’t mind her as a sister-in-law. Yeah, life is starting to get good for once."
Chassie notice something strange about the moon, the color had changed from silver to gold.
"What the?" Chassie said as she saw the moon change again and a small ball of golden light flew towards her.
The light stopped in front of her and transformed into a tiny being with dragonfly wings. Chassie recognized it as a sprite.
"Goldeen! What on earth are you doing here?" Chassie asked in surprise.
"Friend Malice! Thou appearance has changed, but I come with great importance!"
"I bet! You traveled all the way from Torra!" Chassie commented.
"Friend Malice! Evil has come upon the House of Wolf. All was killed, thy friend Lord Rastlin was first to perish! When Champion Lola came to aid, she too was struck down! She sleep with in healing house, healers say she will not wake."
Chassie eyes turned black with rage, "Who did this Goldeen?"
Goldeen looked down, "The House of Rat."
"Dumas!" Chassie cried out as flames shot around her eyes, "That fucken bastard has gone too far! As soon as I’m gone, he starts killing my friends!"
"Also, Thy Matron has sent this with me." Goldeen said as a heart shaped locket appeared in front of Chassie.
"My locket!" Chassie grabbed it and opened it, "I thought I lost it!"
She stared at the two photos, "Throttle gave me this just before I went to Medical school, he wanted to give me something to remember him by. And I got Nadia to take this picture of me and…" Chassie closed the locket, "It’s been so long since I thought of Tyke. " She reopened the locket and stared at the Martian child, "Does he ever looked like his father. My poor boy, killed by that dammed Dumas! Tyke deserved to live a full life."
"Friend Malice, will thee come with me back to Torra?" Goldeen asked, "Matron Festa pleads to thee for vengeance. Will thee avenge thy friends?"
Chassie turned to the direction that her family had gone, "I…I don’t know."
"Oh please Malice!" The sprite screamed, "Please return to Torra! We need thee! Lord Dumas has begun to destroy the Enchanted forests! Our homes shall be destroyed!"
Chassie thought for a moment before speaking, "I have no choice. I have to go. I made an oath to Matron Festa to protect her and her family as if they were my own. Alright Goldeen, I’ll come with you."
"Thank you friend Malice! Thank you!"
"But I need to get my bike and some stuff first. Come with me."
Chassie ran downstairs to her room with the sprite in tow. Charley had turned her storage room into a bedroom for Chassie. As soon as the two entered the room, Chassie dove and slid beside the bed and pulled out the old green duffel bag.
"I’m going to need this." She said, "Now, all I need is my bike."
"We must hurry Friend Malice, we may not have time!" Said Goldeen.
"Don’t worry Goldeen, I’ll make Dumas pay for everything he’s done to us, and for my son."
Chassie carried the duffel bag to the kitchen, "I have to leave them a note. I might not come back."
She grabbed a piece of paper from the drawer, a pencil beside the phone, and she began to write:
Dear Vince, Modo, and Throttle,
I hate to do this but I have no choice. I returned to Torra. I have some unfinished business there and I can’t move on with my life with out doing this. There is a possibility that I may never return. I just want to say is this,
Vince, I give you my blessings to marry Charley. I think she’s the perfect woman for you. She’ll keep you on your toes and you need someone to nock down your ego. I never blamed you for mom’s death. I think you should know that. I love you more than a brother, as a friend. I’ll miss you.
Modo, you have been like a brother to me. You were always there for me and I love you for that. Please remember that you’ll always have a place in my heart. I love you.
Throttle, I know what you’re going to say and I’m sorry to break my promise to you but I have no choice. If I do return, I’ll be a better mouse for it. I need to do this, please try to understand that I can’t move on with my life if I don’t do this. You are my life, I love you more than life itself. But I need to do this for us. I love you with all my heart.
Don’t try to follow me, I couldn’t bear it if you were killed. And please forgive me, I have no choice but to do this. Please remember the good times we’ve had here.
Chassie
Chassie grabbed her leather jacket and ran downstairs, her bike revved to her.
"We’re going back to Torra Black," she said as she tied the duffel bag to the back of her bike. She didn’t notice the spell book fall out from an opened zipper on the duffel bag.
"Goldeen, I guess that we’re going to teleport?" Chassie asked.
"Yes Friend Malice, how else would we travel?" The sprite answered.
"Just checking." Chassie said as she secured her helmet on, "Teleport us to the hospital. I need to see Lola."
"As you wish Malice." Goldeen said as she created a portal in front of the garage door.
"OK Black, let’s ride!" Chassie yelled as Black drove into the white light with Goldeen flying behind them. The light disappeared with a fissile.
*********************************************
"That was the most stupidest movie I had ever seen!" Vinnie yelled as the Biker Mice drove inside the garage.
"You picked it!" Charley yelled back.
"Note to everyone, this is the last time Vinnie picks the movie." Throttle said as he turned his bike off.
"Hey, Chassie’s bike is gone." Modo noticed.
"I wonder where she’s gone to?" Asked Throttle.
"You guys worry too much about her," Charley declared, "She’s a grown woman after all."
Modo got off of his bike and saw the book on the floor, he picked it up and showed it to his companions, "Do ya remember this?"
"That’s the spell book that Lola had! I thought she took it with her." Vinnie said.
"What’s it doing down here? It wasn’t there before we left." Said Charley.
"I got a bad feeling about this." Said Throttle.
Vinnie raced upstairs and called to his sister, "OH FUCK!" He yelled. He raced back down to the garage, "You are not going to like this!" Vinnie said as he showed the note to Throttle. Vinnie read it out loud, everyone was in shock. Throttle was so angry that he punched the cement wall with his fist.
"HOW COULD SHE DO THIS!" Throttle yelled.
"We have to get her back!" Said Vinnie.
"And how are you going to do that? We don’t know were Torra is?" Said Charley.
"We could use the spell book." Modo suggested.
"Who knows how to read spells?" Asked Throttle.
"Um, I could try." Charley volunteered.
"And how would you know how to read magic?" Vinnie sarcastically pointed out.
"When I was younger, a few girlfriends and I practiced Witchcraft."
"Did it work?" Modo asked.
"Well, not really, but it shouldn’t be much different than our spells."
She took the book from Modo and began to read, "Good, I guess elves use the same English as us."
She flipped each page gently until she stooped and smiled.
"I think I found it. Oh no, it requires something from Torra." Charley said.
"Like what?" Asked Modo.
"I’m not sure, I think something that was created in Torra." Charley suggested, "I think I have something."
She ran upstairs and returned with something in her hand.
"What’s that?" Asked Vinnie.
"Remember when Chassie was recuperating after the battle with the planet demon? Her jacket's made from the softest leather that I have ever felt and it wasn’t that badly burned. I thought I could save it and make something out of it."
Vinnie embraced his love, "I knew you were a smart Cookie."
"Good, let’s get our tails there as fast as we can." Throttle voiced.
"Charley, you stay here. We don’t know what to expect there and I would feel better if you didn’t get hurt or even killed there." Said Vinnie.
"Fine. I’ll stay here while you guys experience a New World and have the time of your lives." Charley sulked.
"Mount up Bros!" Throttle yelled as he mounted his bike. Charley began to recite the spell.
"Golden gates and sealed tomes, black rivers and two moons. Land of magic and land of Doom, open the path to lore and home."
Small trickles of green light floated upwards from the book. The jacket turned to flames as Charley dropped it to the ground. A green light appeared before them encasing the wall of the garage.
"Gee, that looks familiar." Said Vinnie.
"Don’t start Vincent." Said Throttle, "OK Bros, let’s rock…"
"AND RIDE!" The three cried out as they drove into the light. The portal closed immediately, leaving Charley alone in the garage.
"I hope they made it there." Mumbled Charley, "I would hate to think I transported them to a planet populated with cats."
*****************************************
Chassie looked up at the large white building, she parked her bike in front of the main doors.
"You stay here with Black, Goldeen." She said to the sprite.
"As thee wish." The sprite answered back.
Chassie opened on of the double doors and proceeded to walk towards the information desk. She could smell the bleach in the floors and hear the beeps of machines in the rooms. She stopped in front of a long counter with a female elf behind it dressed in white with a small white cap on her head.
"Can I help you?" She asked Chassie before even looking at her.
"Um, I’m looking for Lola’s room. The Champion that was brought in here from the House of snake?"
"I don’t know you would want to go there? Those dammed prostitutes…" The nurse said as she looked up at Chassie. Her face had a look of shock on it.
"Oh, forgive me Executioner!" The nurse screamed as she ran around the counter and fell on her knees in front of Chassie, "Please forgive me for my disrespects of House Snake."
"I’ll forgive you this once if you tell me where her room is." Chassie said in a cold tone.
"Yes! Of course! She is in room 253 on the second level." The nurse said.
"Good, I’ll forgive you this time, but be very careful the next time you want to start trashing someone. You might find yourself without your head. " Chassie said as she walked away from the counter towards the elevator.
She pressed the button and entered the elevator, a man dressed in a suit and tie with a woman dressed in fur stood still with gazing eyes as Chassie entered.
"Second floor please." Chassie said to the man.
"Yes Executioner." He said with fright as he pushed the second button.
Hmm…Chassie thought, They still recognize me even with my white hair. They even still fear me.
The elevator lifted and stopped, opening its doors for its passengers.
Chassie left and began to find the room number of her friend. As she looked, she noticed a man walk out of a room with his head down and his hand to his face. His shoulder length dark red hair was loose. He wore a dark blue shirt over a black blazer and blue jeans.
"Crimlen!" Chassie called as she approached the distressed elf.
He looked in her direction, "Malice?"
He embraced her with great strength, "I though you were on Earth?’
"I was, but Goldeen came to me and told me what happened. Is your sister OK?"
Crimlen shook his head, "She’s in bad shape Malice. She battled Dumas himself, but He was too powerful for her."
"I need to see her." Chassie said.
"Mother is in there with her, Malice, she doesn’t look good."
Chassie entered the room, she saw the old woman with pepper hair gently stroking her daughter’s hair.
"Matron Festa." Chassie said as she knelt on one knee in front of the aged elf.
"Malice child!" Festa said as she embraced her, "I knew you would return dear child."
"Matron," Chassie began, "What happened?"
Festa bowed her head, "It began a week ago. For some reason Dumas attacked the House of Wolf, I don’t why. I’m sure it wasn’t for the drugs or shipments. I believe that it was because Rastlin was your friend. He tortured the poor old man for hours until Rastlin’s heart couldn’t take it. Malice…Dumas has gained strength."
Chassie starred into the old Matron's green eyes, "How."
The Matron shook her head, "I had a vision…Dumas has gained the favor of a powerful god…"
"I thought the gods abandoned the elves long ago. How did he gain favor?"
"The gods are all around us, Executioner. They heard our pleads and calls to them. It is for them to answer us. But yes, it has been many centuries since the gods left us."
Chassie took Festa's hand into her own, "Matron, do you know who this god is?"
Festa looked down to the hospital floor, "Yes, it the god of thievery- Vhaeraun."
Chassie looked confused, "I've never heard of him."
"It is because you were never told of the gods here on Torra. Your Matron did not think it was necessary to teach you of their ways. But you have had dealings with one."
Chassie was puzzled again, "I don't remember dealing with a god."
"The sword you use was created by a very powerful goddess for her chosen children. The elves of days past used the sword to surface back upon the land of light from the underworld. The sword may have the might to defeat Dumas." Said Festa.
"Well, we may have a problem with the sword." Said Chassie.
"What problem?" Asked Festa.
"I don't feel the sword's power in me anymore. "
Festa smiled, "It is because you and it have been away from Torra for sometime. The powers of the gods are strongest here, when one leaves the planet, they loose the powers. You loose the empathic connection with it during time, but fear not Malice. There is a way to reconnect yourself with the sword."
Chassie took a step back, "I don't know if I want to do that again. There might be a way that I can kill him without the sword."
"Forgive me young one, but there is no other way. To battle godly magic, you need godly magic. You must perform the ritual to claim the powers back. Without it, Dumas will claim the land."
"I'll become the Executioner again."
"You will always be the Executioner Malice. It is your destiny! The gods have chosen you to be their messenger, their hand in the affairs of mortals. It is an honored position."
"It doesn't feel like an honor."
Festa raised herself from the chair and stood beside the bed. Chassie took a few steps beside the Matron and say her best friend for the first time since her departure from earth. There were bandages covering her face, the only part that wasn't covered was her swollen lips with massive cuts on it. Lola's arms and legs were in casts as her torso was bandaged also. Chassie felt anger creep it's dark way over her heart.
"He tried to kill her, didn't he?"
"Yes…"
Chassie clutched her fists, "He killed my son, he destroyed my reason to live. He now tried to kill my best friend. He is so fucken dead!"
"I would say that is a yes?" Asked Festa.
"You better believe it!" Chassie announced, "Malice is back in town and nothing is going to stop me from killing Dumas…nothing!"
"Then you must return to the House of the Dragon. There, your matron will tell you what you must do to reclaim your powers."
"I'm on my way." Chassie turned around and raced out the room door.
Festa turned to the shadow behind the curtains. Chassie had been too concerned with Lola and Festa to notice the elf male. He pushed the curtains aside and stepped into the light. His long black hair was tied back in a tight ponytail. His attire was completely back-his shirt, blazer, pants and shoes.
"She took the bait?" He asked the Matron.
"Yes…" She hissed back, "I have done what you wanted! Now, restore my daughter her soul Jahard!"
"Not until Malice has completely accepted the hand of Lloth. Until then your daughter will be in a coma." Jahard spoke with a malice smile upon his face.
"Fear not son of Lloth," Festa said with a smile, "as Malice once said: What goes around, comes around!"
**************************************
"It's just like earth!" Vinnie remarked as the Biker Mice glanced around the landscape.
The area was that of an old growth forest with massively large trees all around. The old dirt road has small trees and bushes growing all around. It seemed that no one had used the road for some time.
"Were do we go from here, Throttle?" Modo asked.
"I'm not sure big guy." Throttle said with worry in his voice, "Chassie never talked about this place. I guess the only thing we can do is pick a path and ride it out until we see someone and ask for directions."
"Directions to where?" Asked Vinnie, "We don't know where Chassie went? She could be anywhere on this planet."
"I think I know." Throttle began, "When she first came to earth with the elf, Lola said that Malice was from the Dragon house or something like that. It sounded very important so someone might know where the house is and then we have a better lead on your sister Vincent."
"And am I ever going to give it to her when we find her!" Vinnie declared.
"If ya can." Said Modo.
"Wadda ya mean 'If I can'?" Vinnie questioned.
"Think about it: When Chassie came here, she turned into an assassin, right? And when we went to rescue ya, she was really happy when she was killing those elves. If she's here, there's a good chance that she'll be evil again." Explained Modo.
"You got something there Modo." Said Throttle.
"I can take her! She won't hurt her only lovable, charming, handsome, talented, sweet brother who is much older." Said Vinnie.
"I don't think she'd be able to differ you from an enemy when you're trying to stop her Vincent." Said Throttle.
"We have to get this show on the rode bros." Commented Modo, "Ah don't think we have a lot of time."
"So which way do we go?" Asked Vinnie.
"Let's try left." Said Throttle.
The three intruders turned their massive Martian machines to the chosen direction. With motors revving, they began their search for their friend and comrade.
**************************************
Chassie pulled to the ancient iron gates. The symbol on them was of a battle with a dragon and what seemed like a giant arachnid. She stared at the old mansion in the far distance behind the fence. The house was covered with dead ivy vines and the trees seemed deader than usual.
"Home, sweet home?" Questioned Chassie.
"Do not enter Friend Malice. Thy house reeks of evil." Said the little sprite that came from under Chassie's hair.
"I have no choice right now Goldeen. If my Matron can help me, it's for the better."
Chassie dismounted her bike and approached the intercom beside the fence. She pressed the gray button, which made a harsh buzzing sound.
"Can I help you?" The crack voice sounded through the speaker. Chassie smiled, she had recognized the voice of the butler.
"Corr, it's me, Malice. I've come home." Said Chassie.
"Malice? Have you returned? Oh the Matron will be pleased." The butler spoke as the heavy gates began to open. Chassie called to her bike to follow her inside, but the little sprite did not move.
"What's wrong Goldeen?" Chassie asked, "They won't hurt you. I would never let them."
"It is not that Friend Malice, it is the evil I feel that is within the house. I have never felt evil so strong in my seventy centuries. Be wary Malice! There is a god among us." Goldeen said as she took off towards the east.
"Hmm…I wonder what's bugging her?" She turned towards the house, "I don't feel a thing. She might be exaggeration or something. Oh well, let's get to our task at hand Black." The bike responded with the revving of its engine.
Chassie walked the long way to the front doors, her bike stopped in front. She opened the green duffel bag and slid out a long wrapped object. She slowly unraveled it and held the black sword up high to view it better.
"Hasn't changed in storage. Good." Chassie said as she tied the scabbier to her side with the sword replaced in its holder.
She stepped slowing on the black marbled stair as she hands began to tremble.
"Easy Chassie-girl." She said to her self, "There's nothing to worry about. There's no such thing as great evil in this house."
Chassie stopped just a foot away from the door, "What the hell am I talking about? This is a house of trained assassins! That's an evil thing!"
Just then the grand door opened to reveal a male elf with wrinkles upon his face. He was dressed in a black suit with little white gloves.
"Mistress Malice!" Corr said with joy in his eyes, "Matron Tirra is expecting you in her study. She is very pleased to hear of your return."
"Thanks Corr." Chassie said.
"Um, by the way Mistress, your sister Nadia is here as well."
"Oh wonderful." Chassie said as she entered the house and made her way towards the door beside the grand staircase.
"And the protocol daughter returns. What is wrong Malice? Could not hock it on their world? Poor baby."
Chassie turned and saw Nadia standing mid way on the stairs. Her black hair was loose and flowed over her shoulders. She wore a purple rode with black trim and markings that resembled spiders.
"Going for a new look Nadia?" Chassie asked.
"You are very droll Malice but yes. Mother has decided to go from red to purple for the new order. I do not think that you would have a place in the House of Dragon since staying on earth with your brother and forgetting your duties to this family." Answered Nadia.
Chassie smiled, "If it's still the house of Dragon. You have spiders all over you Nadia instead of the dragons worn by high priestesses, I guess you couldn't 'hack' it as a priestess of Draco. Poor thing."
"Nadia! Malice! That will be enough!"
The two turned to the open door were their Matron stood. The old elf stood with dignity and power as she starred them down. She too was dressed in the same manner but it was reversed. On her hip was a strange sight. A whip with what seemed as four snakes slithering lively around were attached to it. The matron smiled.
"I am pleased that my daughter has returned from her travel. I was very worried about your welfare child. Tell me, how is your brother?"
"He's fine Matron." Said Chassie.
The Matron turned to the staircase, "Nadia, I will not require your assistance any further. You may leave."
Nadia's face showed anger, "As you wish Matron."
"Now, then Malice. I wish to see you in my study. We have much to talk." Said the Matron.
"Yeah, we sure do." Said Chassie as she followed the Matron in the room, "What's with the whip? You didn't have that when I left."
"A gift from an old friend." The Matron answered.
Inside was wall to wall selves with many old books on them. In the middle was a white marble desk with many papers, books, quills and inkbottles cluttered about. Chassie could tell that the old elf was working on something.
"You look different Malice. You no longer look like the menacing Executioner." Said the Matron
"Yeah well, that's why I'm here, but there's something I want to know right now. What's this new order Nadia was talking about mother?" Chassie asked.
"It is what some people like to call it. It is what the ancient books of the gods speak of. It involves you and Dumas." Said the Matron.
"What? The only thing that involves Dumas is my sword's edge going through his neck." Said Chassie.
"That is what I speak of child. The battle of two great Champions for the land that the old books spoke of. Please sit and I will explain all."
Chassie sat in the wooden chair as the Matron sat in hers behind the desk.
"Legend speaks of two great powers in conflict with only one emerging triumphant. The prophets speak of the one born of the stars and the one born of Torra. You are the one born of the stars Malice. The prophets have seen you in their vision centuries before you were birth from your mother. They speak of the power you carry in your heart."
"That's hard to believe Matron." Said Chassie.
The matron opened one of the old books that sat on her desk and began to read from it, "And the child born from the stars shall come down with thunder in her hand and fire in her eyes. She will come down upon a steed of steel and confront the priests of the false god. Her power will be blessed and her mind strong, her will cannot be matched. And the high priest of the false god will challenge her, destroying love ones in his path. But fear not! For she is blessed with the will of the true goddess! Only she will triumph over the false ones and regain the land for the for the true children of Lloth."
Chassie thought for a moment, "Who's Lloth?"
Tirra smiled, "That is the true goddess. She is the one who delivered the land of light to the dark elves, us. Dumas' god yearns for our land but I will not allow him to take it. The goddess has spoken to me and has instructed me."
"Is this the same god that created the Death Sword?" Asked Chassie.
"Yes. She is the one who has blessed you. For some reason you have her favor. But it has been a long time since you have used the sword's power. You must reclaim it."
"And how am I going to do that? I just took the sword the first time."
"My child of the stars, you did not ask the goddess for her power, it must be given of free will. You must visit her temple and call out to her. If you are her Champion, she will answer."
"And where is this temple?"
The Matron grinned, "It is located on this very spot. My foremothers built this house over her temple to hide it from the priest of other gods who wished for her destruction."
"So…there are other gods as well?"
Tirra shook her head, "There are only two that remain now."
"Were there any good gods at one time?"
"They have been all destroyed."
"By how?"
The Matron starred at Chassie, "Enough! I have no patience for the other gods. We must be ready or Dumas will destroy all life as he did your son."
Chassie stood up and gave her Matron a malice look, "Keep Tyke out of this. I will have my revenge and the vengeance of Lola. Dumas will not live to see another birthday."
The Matron will smile, "Them I will take you to Lloth's temple. But I warn you, you must give yourself completely to her for her to give you the power you need to eliminate Dumas."
"I'll take it from behind if I have to Matron." Said Chassie
"The Matron smiled, "Excellent!"
*************************************
Chassie and Matron Tirra stood in front of the stone tome with the great spider statue upon the door. The grass all around was dead and the trees wilting. Chassie didn't take this as a good sign.
"I've been back here before Matron, but I never saw the vegetation around here being so dead. What's happening around here?" Asked Chassie.
"What the prophecy speaks daughter, Vhaeraun has destroyed much of the life around these parts because he can sense Lloth here. He will stop at nothing to try to destroy her and her priestesses." Said the Matron
"That's just prime." Said Chassie.
"What?" Asked the Matron.
"Just something from one of Vince's favorite TV programs. It's a saying, it felt right."
Now then, let us deal with the task at hand." Spoke Tirra, "You must enter the tome and walk down the stairs hidden in a coffin at the end of the hall. You will find the temple. Kneel in front of the altar with your sword held in front on you with the blade facing down and call to her. If she is listening, she will answer you. Do not be afraid of her handmaiden, she will speak for the Goddess. Do you understand?"
"No, but I'm going to do it anyway." Said Chassie.
"Then God's speed child." Said the Matron as she turned around and left Chassie alone in the temple.
"Why is it I get the feeling something really bad is going to happen?" Said Chassie to herself.
"Are we there yet?" Asked Vinnie as the three raced their way to the nearest town.
"Like I told you for the past three hours Vincent, NO!" Throttle shouted.
"Alright! Don’t have a cow! I was just curious, you don’t have to bite my head off."
"Sorry Vinnie but I’m just worried about your sister." Said Throttle.
"We’re all worried about her." Said Modo.
"I just can’t believe she would come back here. I thought she was happing with us." Throttle stated.
"There might be a very good reason why she came back Throttle." Said Vinnie, "She might have made a promise to someone here and now she’s carrying it out. You might be worrying your head over something stupid."
Vinnie suddenly felt a cold chill run down his spine. A feeling of dread and evil clouded his mind for but a split second.
"Vinnie could be right Throttle." Modo agreed.
"I think I’m wrong." Vinnie said with a touch of fear in his voice.
******************************
Chassie knelt in front of the blood-covered altar with her sword out.
"This is some sick place," she said, "what if I’m doing the wrong thing?"
She closed her eyes and relaxed her body.
"Forgive me my love." She whispered.
"LLOTH, ANCIENT GODDESS OF THE DROWS! MOTHER TO TORRA! GREAT ONE! I CALL TO YOU! I NEED YOUR HELP TO DESTROY THE ONE WHO KILLED MY SON! I WANT REVENGE!
Chassie heard the sound of stone moving and cracking, she opened her eyes to see the massive spider statue behind the altar move towards her. Chassie just stayed in her place with a look of fear and awe.
" I HEAR YOU LITTLE MOUSE." The elf head on the statue said as its eyes turned red as flames, "I HAVE COME TO GRANT YOU YOUR WISH."
"Um, not to be disrespectful or nothing but are you Lloth?" Chassie asked with a lump in her throat.
The stone creature laughed as it transformed into a very beautiful elf female with coal black skin and snow white hair. She dressed in the same garments as the Matron. Live spiders crawled over her and around the old room. Chassie hadn’t noticed them before when she entered the room, but she wasn’t going to ask another stupid question.
"YES, I AM LLOTH, GODDESS OF THE DROW. IAM THE ONE THAT YOU SEEK LITTLE MOUSE. NEVER HAD I A SERVENT SUCH AS YOUR SELF. YOU ARE THE FIRST NON-DROW TO GAIN MY FAVOR. ASK WHAT YOU WISH. BUT I WARN YOU, YOU MAY NOT LIKE THE RESULTS."
Chassie sighed, "I know, but I have no choice. I need to kill Dumas before he kills another one of my friends. I made a promise on my son’s grave that I would kill Dumas very slowly and painfully."
"BUT YET YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO. YOU ALLOWED THE LORD OF THIEVES TO MOCK YOU. I CAN SEE IN YOUR HEART THAT YOU WOULD HAVE STAYED ON THE PLANET OF YOUR BROTHER AND FORGET THE VOWE YOU MADE TO YOUR CHILD."
"I DIDN’T FORGET!" Chassie screamed as she got up and faced the goddess, "I just needed some time to myself."
"AND YOU HAVE RETURNED TO TORRA TO RELIVE YOUR LIFE AS THE EXECUTIONER. YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT IF I GRANT YOU THE POWER, YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR HEART WITH IT. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR CHOISE NOW LITTLE MOUSE."
Chassie thought for a moment, "There’s no way that the guys can get here. Tyke is dead and buried. I broke my promise to Throttle, he doesn’t take kindly to things like that. There’s nothing really to live for anymore, is there?"
Lloth smiled to her, "YES THERE IS, YOU WILL BECOME THE EXECUTIONER AGAIN AND ELIMINATE YOUR ENEMIES IN MY NAME. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER THE PLEASURE YOU TOOK WHEN YOU CANCELED A LIFE? TO SEE THE LIFE FLIKER AS A CANDLE IN THE WIND AND WATCH IT DIE OUT WITH A TOUCH OF YOUR HAND? THE POWER YOU HELD IN YOUR HANDS MADE ALL LIVING CREATURES FEAR YOU. YOU LOVED THE HUNT AND THE CAPTURE ONCE. DO YOU STILL YEARN TO TASTE THE BLOOD OF YOUR VICTIMS UPON YOUR LIPS?’
Chassie closed her tear filled eyes, "Yes, I still feel the need to kill someone just for the pleasure of it."
"NOW LITTLE MOUSE, THE TIME IS AT HAND! DO YOU GIVE YOURSELF TO ME WITH ALL YOUR SOUL?"
"Yes."
"LET IT BE KNOWN TO THE HEAVENS AND THE GATES OF HELL THAT YOU HAVE ECEPTED THE KISS OF LLOTH!"
With a wave of the Drow Goddess’ hand, flames appeared around Chassie and began to consumer her. Chassie screamed in panic and pain, she tried to flee but couldn’t.
"DO NOT MOVE LITTLE MOUSE! IF YOU CAN WITHSTAND THE FIRES OF HELL, THEN YOU MAY HAVE THE POWER."
Chassie stood still and allowed the fires to burn her. She began to feel cold hands wrap around her body. The Power surged through her body as her transformation took hold. She screamed in pain as Lloth’s hand descended upon her.
*************************************
"I see a house!" Modo yelled to his comrades.
"About time!’ Said Throttle, "We’ll find Chassie real soon Vinnie."
Vinnie began to feel the cold chill again, but this time it was much worse. Ice hands crept around his heart and started to claw at it. He couldn’t take the pain and stopped his bike with the screeching of his tires. Modo and Throttle say their friend and stopped as well. Vinnie crawled off his biker and knelt on the ground grabbing his chest.
"Vincent, what is it?" Throttle asked as he knelt with him.
"I…(Huff)…I don’t know…(huff)…It’s like my soul is being torn or …(huff)…something." Vinnie tried to say.
"Take your helmet off Bro!" Said Modo.
Throttle took a hold of Vinnie’s helmet and unlatched it to remove it. Without the helmet, Vinnie still had trouble breathing.
"It’s…(huff)…Like something…(huff)…evil is trying…(huff)…take my soul." Vinnie whispered.
Throttle felt a cold hand touched his head, he turned around but saw nothing. A feeling of fear was felt deep in his heart.
"This isn’t good." He said.
************************************************
The Goddess of Evil stood with pride as she watched the fires of hell claim another victim. The black figure within the fire stopped screaming and began to laugh out loud. Lloth commanded the fires to return to their eternal home and grinned at the sight before her. There was her Executioner, dressed in black leather she wore once before. Her hair was burned black and came only to the top of her neck, a black mark over her left eye was the sign of death. Her dark eyes had live flames dance around within. She smiled to the Goddess exposing her teeth, one long sharp tooth hung at each side of her two front incisors. A malice smile crept up on her face.
"The Bitch is back!" Said Malice the Executioner.
*************************************************
Vinnie stood up as if there was nothing wrong with him, he looked at his bros.
"Something really big and bad just happened." Vinnie declared.
"I might know what it was." Throttle said as he looked around, "We have to get to that farm house and ask for directions."
"Do ya think we can Throttle?" Asked Modo, "Ah mean, we’re mice, don’t ya think they might be scared?"
"We’ll keep our helmets on. Let’s ride bros." Said Throttle.
The three drove down the dusty road until they road up the long driveway of the farm. In front of the old farmhouse was a beat-up looking vehicle that resembled a truck. But unlike a truck, this thing didn’t have any wheals or exhaust pipes. The windows were domed shaped and the top of the cab was shape like a cone. The three Biker Mice dismounted their bikes and walked towards the front door of the house. An aged male elf walked out dressed in dirty trousers and blue shirt. In his hand was what looked like a type of canon riffle.
"Can I help you boys?" The elf asked.
"Yeah, if you can sir." Said Throttle, "We’re from…out of town and we’re looking for a friend. We think she may be at the Dragon House. Do you know where that is?"
The old man stood for a moment and rubbed his pepper colored hair, "That is not the place you boys really want to go is it?"
"We have to find our friend." Throttle pleaded, "and that’s where we think she is."
"This can be a bad place for new comers, I suggest that you stay far away from that house. But if you must go there, then I will tell you. Just follow this road to town and keep going past town. You will come to a fork on the road that is where you want to turn left. It is the large mansion on the right with dragons all over the gates and walls. I warn you boys though, you should avoid that place or you might loose your heads."
Vinnie looked at Throttle, "Loose our head?"
"Yes," Said the farmer, "Word has rang through these pats that the Executioner is back in town and not too pleased either. There will be a battle that I believe you should leave before it happens."
Throttle shook his head, "We can’t do that. It’s the Executioner we’re looking for."
The farmer’s face a motionless, "I figured it was her you boys were after. It is difficult to hide a tail and fur covered skin around here."
Vinnie and Modo couldn’t help but chuckle at the farmer’s indiscretion. Throttle however was a little annoyed.
"Thanks for your time sir, but we have to get there before this fight breaks out." Throttle said.
"I hope you make it in time." The farmer said as her entered his home as the mice mounted their bikes and drove off.
The farmer’s wife entered the living room as she was drying a dish with a dishcloth, "What did they want?"
The farmer sat down on his couch and sighed, "They are looking for Death, I hope they never find her."
*****************************************
The sun had set upon the ancient forest of magic. A figure ran with great speed as she searched for a long lost friend. A sound came to her ear and she stopped to listen. Pleased with the sound she called to the creature with her mind, a called answered back. A growled can from up above in the trees, the figure looked up to see two bright green eyes with no pupils glow in the dark. She smiled back at him.
"Get your mangy butt down here Shadow." She called to the creature.
The beast jumped down and stood in front of his mistress. He resembled a massive dark blue panther but with two sets of hind legs. Extending from its shoulders was two seven feet tentacles with hard, rough edges at the tip. The beast mewed to her and began to purr.
"I missed you too Shadow, but don’t worry baby, we’ll be together from now on." The Execution whispered to her beloved pet as she stroked it, "Come now my friend, we have some prey that need to be hunted!"
****************************************************
It had become dark as the night descended upon the small planet from the heavens when the Biker Mice slowed their Martian machines towards the great house. Throttle pulled up to the gates of the House of Dragon first followed by Vinnie and Modo. They dismounted again, with hopes of finding their dear friend before the evil found her. Vinnie walked towards the intercom and smiled to his friends.
"I really hope this is the right one." Vinnie said as he pushed the button.
"Yeah the other two were a little strange." Said Modo.
"May I help you?" A static male voice wrung out from the speakers.
"Ah…yeah. I’m looking for Chassie Van Wham. Would she be here?" Asked Vinnie.
There was a pause before the voice answered back, "I’m sorry but Mistress Malice is not home. Please call back again."
Vinnie seemed a little worked up, "Do you know this is?" He yelled into the speaker.
"Am I supposed to care?" A female voice answered back.
"I am Vinnie Van Wham, the greatest mamajamam in the universe!"
"Hmm…no I do now know you. Please leave."
"IF YOU DON’T OPEN THIS GATE, I’LL…" Vinnie shouted as Throttle grabbed him and tried to talk to the intercom.
"I’m sorry about my friend Ma’am, but he’s worried about his sister. Can you tell us where she might be?" Throttle asked.
"Perhaps she might be at the ship yards. Malice did say something about visiting an…old friend."
"Um…could you tell us where that is?" Throttle asked again.
"Go back into town and follow the signs. A blind man can find it, just follow the smell of fish."
"Thanks Ma’am." Throttle said, but intercom was shut off before the receiver heard it.
"She was a mean one." Said Modo.
"Yeah, what crawled up her butt?" Said Vinnie.
"She doesn’t want us to find Chassie. Time might not be on our side Bros." Throttle declared.
*******************************************
The shipyard was quiet this night except for the sound of nine men carefully unloading a single ship that came in during the cover of darkness. The men sang an old sea tune as they worked to pass the time. Large cargo boxes rolled down the deck towards a waiting truck. The tenth man walked out and began to shout at the workers.
"If we do not get this precious cargo to the Guild by morning, Dumas will have our heads!"
"It will not be Dumas who will take your heads this night prey!"
The workers looked up to see the Executioner with her blade drawn and her panther pounce upon them from the rooftop of the warehouse. The nine screamed and tried to disperse as the two deadly creatures landed without a sound. Malice grabbed the closest one and jabbed her sword into his back making the blood soaked tip stick out his chest. Shadow pounced on another and wrapped his massive mouth around his head and cracked the skull like a ripe melon. With a jump, the Executioner landed in front of another victim, slicing his head of with one swing. The beast turned to the direction of its mistress and noticed a worker running towards her with a large pipe in his hands. The unnatural panther leaped and landed on the attacker before he could do any harm. Shadow flung its tentacles around the assailant’s neck and began to suck the life out of the man. Malice ran after another and threw her sword at him. The man turned and saw the black metal whirling towards him and sliced through his neck. The blade turned and made its way back to the Executioner’s hand. Malice looked around at the dead corpses, the rest had fled with their lives for the moment. She walked towards one of the crates as her pet began to feast on the still warm bodies.
"Let’s take a little look at what Dumas was shipping in from the islands." Malice said as she took hold of the wooden top and ripped it off with her bare hands. She smiled greatly at the plastic wrapped dried plants. She ripped the clear covering open and smelled the sweet sent.
"That is why he killed Rastlin. Rastlin was making a fortune on the drug trades and Dumas wanted it." She said to her beast.
Malice grabbed a small piece and drew out a small package of rolling papers from her coat pocket. She rolled a long cigarette and placed one tip in her mouth and the other she lit with a black flame from the tip of her finger. She inhaled deeply and smiled as the drug began to take affect on her mind. She turned to her pet.
"You want some Shadow?" She asked, the panther ignored her as it snapped elven bones like dried twigs.
"Yeah you’re right. It’s bad shit, but it feels so good." She inhaled again.
Shadow lifted his head up and began to listen intensely, Malice notice and tried herself to hear. The sound of three bikes where slowly their way near her, as if searching in the dark for someone. Malice became enraged as her pet stood up and growled.
"How in the nine hells did they find me?" She screeched, she then turned to Shadow, "Let’s get on the roof for a better look."
With one mighty leap, the two predators flew above the steel buildings and landed upon the roof of the nearest one with the silence of the night. They waited in anticipation until their patience was rewarded with the motion of three figures upon three steel steed.
"What the fuck happened here?" Vinnie called out to his companions as they stopped their machines and scanned the slaughter.
"Vincent, your mouth." Throttle barked back.
"What could’ve done this mess?" Modo asked.
Throttle dismounted his bike and walked towards the nearest body. He placed his hand over the corps and backed away as Modo and Vinnie dismounted their bikes.
"This guy’s still hot." He whispered.
"Then the killer must still be round." Modo concluded.
"Who the fuck cares? We’re here to find Chassie, not find the killer of these poor saps!" Vinnie yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Vincent, I know we have to find your sister, but we can’t leave the murderer of these innocent citizens free." Throttle began.
"You should." The voice called out as a shadow leaped from the darkness and confronted the trio.
The Biker mice were a gasp at the sight. Malice stood pride with her sword in her hand. Vinnie took a step closer towards his dear sister.
"Chass…" Vinnie began, "What happened to you?"
Malice giggled, "I’m all better dear brother. Come, give your sweet sister a kiss."
She smiled, exposing her fangs to them.
"Chassie, you’re scarring us." Throttle whimpered.
"She’s not scarring me, " Vinnie exclaimed.
"But I will dear brother." Malice said as she extended her arm towards him and opened the palm. Black flames spurted out in a long stream towards its prey. Vinnie stood still in shock as the dark fire flew closer. Modo lunged and was able to pull his friend out of harms way.
"Aw, you want to play too Modo?" Malice spoke as she brought her sword up. Throttle took this chance and tackled her to the ground. He held her sword arm with his, trying to avoid the razor sharp blade. He stared into her eyes, they were orbs of red fire.
"Chassie! You broke your promise to me, how could you!" He shouted.
"I? I broke my promise?" She shouted back, "What is a promise? For it not be broken?"
Malice moved her knee up, connecting with Throttle’s groin. Agonizing pain shot up like a rocket as his strength left him. She pushed him a side and smiled as she lifted her blade.
"At last poor Throttle, I will kill thee well." Malice said as she swung her sword towards Throttle’s throat.
A laser blast came between her and Throttle, just in time. She turned and faced Modo who had his laser pointed at her head.
"Don’t make me hurt ya Chassie." He said with his voice trembling.
Malice walked slowly at him, "Dear, sweet Modo, what is ever the matter? Are you frightened pet?"
Modo took a step back, "Don’t come a step closer! I’ll…I’ll shoot!"
The messenger of Death crouched low, "Are you able to kill a tender friend Modo?"
She punched in the air and landed in front of him. With one slice, his robotic are was severed from him. The circuitry overload shocked the once gentle mouse and he fell to the ground unconscious.
"Never underestimate your opponent Modo. I thought Stoker taught you better."
"YOU BITCH!" Malice heard Vinnie call out to her.
She faced him, "You called?"
"HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US? WE’RE YOUR FAMILY!"
"How true dear brother, again you are correct." She threw her sword aside, "We will do melee combat. At least now you may have a chance."
Vinnie pulled his fits up, Malice started to run towards him. Believed his sister would ram him, the young Martian gripped the ground with his boots, closed his eyes, and waited for the encounter. Just as he thought she would reach him, Vinnie opened his eyes and crouch low prepared to trip her, but there was nothing there. He stood up and looked around, but could not see her.
"Where’d the fuck did she go?" He couldn’t help but ask.
"Behind you dear brother." Malice shouted as she struck the back of Vinnie’s head with her foot.
The force knocked the egotistical mouse down in the arms of the dark mental void. Malice grabbed his bandana and pulled him up to her face. The sword appeared in her other hand.
"This night, I will claim your souls for Lloth." She whispered.
"Chassie…please." She turned towards the tan mouse that laid on the ground.
"Chassie, why are you doing this?" Throttle pleaded.
"I am no long that wretched gentle child you call Chassie Throttle." She spoke in a cold tone, "See me for what I truly am: I AM DEATH!"
You’re still Chassie! You can’t deny that fact! And I don’t think you would kill us."
A Haunting and malice laugh escaped her lips, "FOOL! You know not the power of the Executioner! You are nothing but prey to me!"
"Chassie, how can you say that?" Throttle asked as he inched his way towards her on the ground, "We all love you, don’t you remember what’s it’s like to be loved by your family." A foot closer to her.
"Love? What is Love, or respect? Bah, nothing but a soft and useless emotion that can not be leaned upon. Fear, now fear is as strong as steel and can be leaned upon." She held her sword up, "I want to be feared!"
"Chassie please, don’t hurt your own brother." Closer now.
Malice stared at the motionless mouse, she turned to Throttle.
"Yes, It would be more amusing to torture you…former lover."
She threw Vinnie aside like an old warn cloth and lifted Throttle by his vest. She removed his specs and stared deeply into his red eyes.
"Yes, I can see the lust in your eyes for me." She wishpered, "Tell me Throttle, did you enjoy the sadness within my heart when you took Carbine to your bed?"
"I didn’t want to hurt you." He tried to say.
"Foolish boy, I can read your thoughts like an open tome. I see your desires, your wants, your needs. Do you wish to tie me to your bed and fornicate me until I scream?"
Throttle’s eyes widened in shock.
"Yes, you would enjoy that. You enjoy dominating over those who are weaker than you. That is why you kept me, I did not have the strength to fight you. It was easy for you to master me. But you see loving Throttle, I have the power now."
She lifted her sword up high, prepared to jab it into his heart.
"I will defeat you prey!" The sword can down as Throttle screamed.
An explosion of red light broke the two apart, Throttle lifted himself from the grown with his arms, but they were still weak from fright. A warm, small hand touched his shoulder.
"Are you wounded?" The aged voice asked.
"Just my pride…and another thing." Throttle said as he looked at the old elf woman.
She smiled softly at him.
"I am Matron Festa, of the House of Snake. We have not much time before the Executioner wakes."
Throttle looked around the docks, Modo and Vinnie were still unconscious but so was Malice.
Throttle turned back to the Matron, "Do you know what’s going on?"
"Yes, and I fear it is all my doing."
"How?"
"I convinced Malice to regain her dark powers and complete the task of eliminating her enemy Dumas."
"Why did you do that?"
"Malice’s Matron has captured the soul of my daughter Lola. Malice has always trusted me, more than her own Matron. I became as a second mother to her, and Tirra knew she could use me to gain her prized assassin back. She will not return Lola’s soul to her body until Malice has destroyed Dumas."
"Who’s Dumas?" Throttle couldn’t help but ask.
"Dumas had a direct hand into the birth of Malice. But I must warn you Throttle, if Malice succeeds with the demise of her prey, her soul will belong to the dark gods and you will loose your dear Chassie forever."
Throttle stood up, "Those things that she said to me, the way that she talked and acted, it’s like she’s a complete different person."
"She has become a creature of pure evil my friend. The hatred in her heart clouds her mind to the truth."
"Is there anyway to stop her?"
"You must seek out the Dragons of Torra Throttle of Mars. They will give you the way to reclaim your love."
"Ok, dragons, right." Throttle said sarcastically, "and how do I find them?"
Festa took an ivory horn out of her shawl, "This is a tooth from a dragon. Put it next to your heart, and you will feel the way."
"And they know a way to stop her?"
"Yes."
"I don’t think that there’s anything that can stop her."
"Only the laughter of a child will mend her soul. But you must act quickly, for she will wake very soon. Before the dawn claims the night, she will belong to the evil if her heart is not pure once more."
Throttle stood for a moment, "How did you stop her?"
The Matron smiled, "Not all the gods that rule us are evil, my goddess is good. But there is too much evil on this world for my goddess to change. Her power is as strong as her followers, which she has few."
"What about my bros? They took a heavy hit from Malice."
Matron Festa lifted her hand towards the two moons, "What once was, let be again."
The two moons shone a silvery light upon Modo and Vinnie, they began to stir as the light faded.
"Thanks for your…" Throttle said as he turned towards the Matron, but she had vanished from sight, "…help?"
Vinnie and Modo raised themselves from the cold ground.
"What the hell happened?" Vinnie asked.
"Hey! Ma arm’s all together!" Modo shouted with glee.
"There’s no time for that! Vinnie, Modo, get on your bikes now, we have to move out!" Throttle shouted.
Vinnie stared at his sister, she laid motionless on her back, "I’m not leaving Chassie behind!"
"That’s not Chassie!" Throttle yelled back.
"I’m not leaving her!"
Throttle mounted his bike, "Vincent, she’ll kill us if we stay. I know how to get Chassie back, but we have to leave now!"
Modo mounted his bike as Vinnie pounced upon his.
"Where’re we going?" Modo asked.
"We got to talk to a couple of Dragons." Throttle answered.
"Dragons? What the hell is a dragon?" Vinnie questioned.
"I’ll explain on the way! Let’s rock…"
"AND RIDE!"
Malice groaned at the sound of the Martian machines as they roared towards the city. She rolled on her back and raised herself.
"What did this?" She asked as she placed her hand on her head, "Someone will pay dearly for this!"
She turned to examine her surrounding, the bodies of the workers were the only sights.
"Blasted!" She yelled, "My prey has escaped!"
A loud growl called to her from up above. She looked up and saw her beast standing on the roof.
"Shadow, come!" She called.
The beast leaped down and landed beside her, it began to purr as it rubbed its dark blue head on her waist.
"Return to your forest home until I call again." The cat pounced towards the woods with great speed.
"I will allow the vermin to live…for now, I have a more important …prey to feast upon."
She whistled, her black steel beast rolled out of the dark alley.
"Black," She said as she mounted the bike, "we travel to the House of Rat. Blood will flow as a river this night."
"Where the hell are we going?" Vinnie asked for the fourth time as the three Biker Mice drove out of the City and into the dense woods on an old dirt trail.
"We have to get to those mountains!" Throttle called out as he pointed to the Rock Mountains a distance away.
"Why?" Modo asked.
"A dragon knows how to stop Malice."
The night is an enemy to those who couldn’t understand it’s secrets, but one did. She ran upon the rooftop with her pet in pursuit. She stopped in front of a door and smiled.
"Dumas is so predictable!" She whispered.
"Not likely Malice, he knew you would be here."
Malice turned and saw the young ninja poised ready to strike.
She smiled, "Oh Dumas has sent a child to do a man’s job." She drew out her sword, "If you dance with the executioner, you dance with death."
The young elf drew out his blade and leaped at her, the sound of clanged metal rang in the air.
The biker mice pulled up to the mountainside and stared at the grand sight before them. The mountaintops seemed to be covered by the black clouds and couldn’t be seen.
"So, how are we going to get in there?" Vinnie asked.
Just then, the tooth began to glow as it lifted itself from Throttle’s vest and raised into the air. The ground shook and rocks began to fall from the mountains as the three tried to balance themselves on the moving ground.
"WHO DARES TO WAKE ME?" The loud and angry voice called out from the shadows of a dark cave that somehow appeared before them.
Throttle stood up without fear in his eyes, "We cam here to look for a dragon, do you know of one who lives around here?"
"WHY DO YOU THREE MARTIANS WISH TO DISTURB A DRAGON?" The voice answered back.
Vinnie and Modo looked at each other with quizzical looks on their faces.
"He know we’re Martians?" Vinnie asked.
"Our friend is being possessed by a great evil. Matron Festa told me that a Dragon who lives around here would help us save our friend." Throttle shouted towards the cave entrance.
"YOU SPEAK OF THE EXECUTIONER. HER TALES HAVE TRAVELED FAR AND WIDE. SHE IS A DANGEROUS FOE."
"We found out the hard way." Exclaimed Vinnie.
"Can you help us find the dragon?" Throttle asked.
The ground shook once more, but is seemed like a giant was walking out of the cave.
"I knew Ah shouldn’t have watched Jurassic Park." Modo mumbled.
"Cool it bros, I have a funny feeling about this." Throttle mentioned to his comrades.
The two moons’ light reflected on the creature as it crawled out of the cave and expanded its great leather wings to the dark sky. Its massive head rose up above the drawven mice as its serpent-teen neck extended towards them, its great body was covered with golden scales and its four legs had four razor claws on each foot. Flat triangular shaped spikes that started at the top of the head and extended to the long tail weaved a little in the warm summer’s wind. Its long snout sniffed the three mice and stared at them with its golden reptilian eyes. Flickers of red flames came out of the nostrils. The mice stood silent in awe.
"YOU HAVE FOUND THE DRAGON OF TORRA." The dragon shouted.
"Wow, are we going to be his next meal?" Vinnie asked.
"FEAR NOT LITTLE MOUSE, I HAVE NO NEED TO FEED UPON THE FLESH OF THE LIVING." The dragon replied.
"Just the dead?" Vinnie whispered.
"Never mind my bro Dragon, but we need your help." Said Throttle.
"I KNOW WHY YOU HAVE COME. YOU SEEK THE WAY TO RID YOUR FRIEND OF THE EVIL SHE POSSESSES. FOLLOW ME." The dragon said as it turned its enormous body back towards the cave entrance.
The mice had to duck away from the tail or get hit and hurt for a long time. As they followed the large lizard into its home, Throttle couldn’t help but feel a presence trying to reach his mind. He turned around to his friends, but Vinnie and Modo were busy with making jokes of how many dragons does it take to change a light bulb. Throttle turned back to the dragon.
"Um, do you have a name, or do we just call you dragon?" He asked.
"I WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR TONG SO YOU MAKE SPEAK MY NAME, BUT YOU MAY CALL ME HASTA."
"Hasta, do you know why Malice wants Dumas dead?" Throttle asked.
"YES. YOU SEE SON OF ARES; WHEN YOUR LOVE CAME HERE, SHE WAS NOT ALONE. SHE BROUGHT WITH HER A CHILD."
Throttle stared at the dragon, "A kid? Chassie never had a kid, I would have known!"
"SHE DID HAVE A CHILD, A SWEET CHILD WITH TAN FUR AND BLUE EYES. HIS LAUGHTER BROUGHT JOY TO THIS DRAGON’S OLD HEART."
"You knew Chassie before she changed into Malice?"
"YES AGAIN. BUT THE FEMALE DID NOT KNOW I WAS A DRAGON. WE DRAGONS CAN CHANGE OUR SHAPES WHEN WE WISH IT. BUT ALLOW ME TO TELL YOU THE REST OF THIS PAINFUL TAIL."
"Sure, but what happened to the kid?"
"I AM GETTING TO THAT PART! WHEN THE HOUSE OF THE DRAGON CLAIMED THE CHILD AND MOTHER AS PART OF THEIR FAMILY, THE LORD OF THE THIEVES CALLED UPON THE A SEER TO FIND IF HE COULD USE THE MOUSE AS A NEW THIEF. THE SEER TOLD HIM THAT THE MOUSE WOULD ONE DAY BE A GREAT THREAT TO HIM. DUMAS DECIDED TO ELIMINATE HER BEFORE SHE BECAME A PROBLEM. WHEN THE DRAGON FAMILY EXITED A RESTAURANT ONE EVENING, DUMAS SENT OUT HIS PAWNS TO DISTRACT THE ASSASSINS AS ONE PLACED A BOMB WITHIN THE FAMILY VEHICLE. THE CHILD WAS WITH THEM AND WHEN THE FIGHT BEGAN, YOUR LOVE PLACED HER CHILD WITHIN THE VEHICLE FOR SAFETY. BUT AS ANY CHILD WHO LOVES TO PLAY WITH BLINKING BUTTONS. THE CHILD ACENDENTLY TURNED ON THE VEHICLE, AND EXPLODED."
Throttle stopped dead in his tracks, Vinnie and Modo did as well as they listened to the Dragon’s tale.
"The baby died?" Vinnie asked.
"WE ARE HERE." The dragon said as they entered the dragon’s lair.
There were great mounts of gold coins and treasure, chests filled with jewels cluttered about the great room, and a large crystal ball glowing a blue light floated above them.
‘THE CHILD IS HERE." Said the dragon as the ball began to decent towards Throttle.
The blue light shone on him and showed him what was inside. Curled up in a little ball with a Martian doll was a Martian child. He looked like he was sleeping with his blue jumper and blue striped shirt on. Throttle stared at the small child. He turned to the dragon.
"Who is his father?" He asked.
"HAVE YOU NOT FELT HIS CALL TO YOU?" Hasta asked.
Vinnie peered inside, "I’m an uncle?"
"Aw…he’s so cute!" Said Modo.
Throttle looked at the child again, "I’m his father?"
"YES SON OF ARES, YOU ARE HIS FATHER. YOU ARE REUNITED WITH YOUR BLOOD."
"I have a son." Throttle said with a little shock in his voice.
"You were sleeping with my sister?" Vinnie asked.
"They were in love!" Modo said as he came to Throttle’s defense.
"A child’s laughter will mend her soul." Said Throttle, he turned back to the dragon, "She became Malice for revenge!"
"YES, THE DARK POWERS OF LLOTH WAS THE ONLY WAY FOR THE YOUNG MOUSE TO CLAIM VENGENCE. MALICE WAS THE DANGER THAT THE SEER HAD PRODICTED TO DUMAS. ID HE HAD KNOWN THAT THE GREAT FORCE WAS CEATED BY HIS HAND, HE WOULD NOT HAVE TRIED TO KILL HER. TRUST NOT THE ONE WHO WEARS THE SPIDER’S ROBES. SHE WILL TAKE YOUR LOVE’S SOUL IF SHE CLAIMS THE LIFE OF THE RAT KING."
"Rat king? Is this that play with the Nutcracker in it?" Vinnie asked.
"WHAT?" Asked the dragon.
"Never mind. So how do we get the kid out?" Vinnie questioned again.
The dragon touched the ball and the top half disappeared. The child opened his eyes and yawned as he stretched. He began to look around and stared at Throttle.
"Um…hi." Throttle said to the child.
The boy began to cry as he wailed for his mother. Vinnie and Modo covered their ears to muff the noise, Throttle gently took hold of the terrified child and cradled him in his arms. The child stopped his cry and looked at the Martian man.
"What’s his mane?" Throttle asked.
"TYKE THROTTLE REDTHORN. AGED TWO." Hasta answered
"My middle name." Throttle exclaimed.
"Wow, he’s got your fur." Said Vinnie.
"And Chassie’s eyes." Said Modo.
"But how did he survive the explosion?" Throttle couldn’t help but ask.
"I TELEPORTED HIM HERE WHERE HE WAS KEPT SAFE UNTIL THE TIME OF THE GATHERING WAS TO TAKE PLACE."
"The gathering? What’s that?" Said Modo.
"YOU NEED NOT WORRY ABOUT THAT, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR ANOTHER FIVE YEARS. TAKE THE CHILD TO ITS MOTHER. THE EXECUTIONER IS ATTACKING DUMAS AS WE SPEAK."
"But we have to get there before she kills him!" Throttle remembered.
"FEAR NOT, I WILL TRANSPORT YOU ALL WITH YOUR STEEL STEEDS TO THE LOCATION. TELL HER ALL THAT HAS TRANSPIRED. SHE WILL UNDERSTAND."
"Thanks Hasta, we owe you one. Come over and visit us on Mars some time." Said Throttle.
The dragon raised its clawed hand towards them and shot a beam of golden light. The Biker mice disappeared within. The dragon sighed, "NO THROTTLE, I WILL NOT SEE YOU WHEN I VENTURE TO YOUR PLANET. YOU WILL NOT LIVE TO SEE THE BIRTH ON YOUR DAUGHTER."
"ALL IS FAIR DURING THE TIME OF WAR OLD FRIEND." Said the loud deep voice.
Hasta turned to the shadows, "IS HIS DEATH TRULLY THAT IMPORTANT TO THE CAUSE?"
The tall figure walked out of the shadows and showed himself to the old dragon. His clean silver armor shined in the blue light. The black blade that hung on his left was as black as a starless night sky.
"HIS DEATH WILL GIVE NEW LIFE TO MARS. YOU WILL SEE, THEY WILL NOT GREIVE FOR LONG."
"I HOPE THEY WILL NOT PAY FOR YOUR AROGANCE ARES, THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT."
"FOR MY PEOPLE TO SURVIVE THE GATHERING, ONE MUST EMBRASE MY WAY."
Malice crept with caution as she landed within the shadows or the corridor. Her super hearing found the sound of her prey in the next room. To armed guards stood at the doorway, unaware of her presence.
Fools! They will regret serving a foul worm! She thought as she approached the guards without a sound.
She pulled her sword out from its scabbier and stood behind the first guard.
"FEEL THE WRATH OF THE EXECUTIONER!" She shouted as the black blade sliced through the guard’s neck and frightened the other guard.
Try as he might, the second elf couldn’t get his laser gun as to work before the sword was jabbed into his chest. His face showed tremens fear as she pulled the blade out and wiped the blood on his clothes. The Messenger of Death kicked the door open with little trouble and entered the room, ten guards sat up from the various tables and stared at her with trembling fear in their hearts. She smiled at them.
"Dance with the devil this night mortals! You will know fear of the Executioner!" She shouted as the guards pulled their guns up towards her and fired.
She leaped up over them and landed in the middle of the group. One elf turned and shot at her but missed and caught a comrade in the head. The Executioner laughed as she held her free hand up and black flames shot out towards four elves and they became living torches as they screamed wildly. She grabbed one elf and held him like a shield as the other four shot at the intruder. She threw her sword towards the one on the left and caught him in the head. The elf dropped to the ground.
"She is with out her sword! Fire!" One elf yelled to the others.
Malice smiled, "Fools! I need not my blade to defeat you!"
With the agility of a leopard, she leaped once more into the air and as she came down upon the three remaining preys, her foot connected with a head and smashed it like a ripe melon. Her hand grabbed a neck and crushed it as her other hand shot out black flame at the last one. She tossed the dead elf aside and smiled at the burning carcass. She extended her hand towards her blade and called it, the sword flew towards her and landed din her hand. Clapping was heard as she turned towards the door. Standing there was her mark. The one who had created her and gave birth to her rage. The black hared elf was dressed in a dark red suit with a black tie around his neck. His red eyes stared at her, she stared back at him.
"Dumas! Now I claim my revenge!" She shouted.
"I think not my dear Executioner. I too possess the powers of a god." He said as he pulled out a long red sword out of his jacket, "The Blood Sword Malice! See your doom."
"I think not!" Malice exclaimed as she held her sword up and attacked the foe.
The two clashed their blades together as they attacked. Green sparks flashed about as the swords connected again. Each was a mastered swordsman, anticipating the other’s move. Malice pounced at the elf, throwing her blade towards his heart. He perried it and she called the sword back to her hand. As she landed, she crouched low and slipped her foot around his foot and causing him to fall, but he didn’t. Dumas disappeared in a flash and appeared behind her, but she knew before hand and leaped out of his way. She landed on her hands as Dumas tried to slice her in half. Pushing on her arms, she righted herself up and shot flames at him, Dumas ducked and the flames caught the curtains of the window. Flames spurted about as the two killers fought each other,
******************************
The biker mice looked around the area, alleys and a large business building stood before them. Flames could bee seen from a window fifteen stories up. Throttle turned to his bros.
"Any bets that Malice’s up there?"
The other two shook their heads.
"Let’s get up there and stop this mess before we loose her." Voiced Vinnie.
Throttle grabbed tightly the little Martian child and smiled at him, "We’re going up there."
Tyke stared at him with a smile.
"LET’S ROCK…"
"AND RIDE" The three shouted as their bikes roared and drove vertically up the side of the building towards the flaming window."
*********************************
"I will kill you slowly Dumas!" Malice shouted as she punched the elf in the head, He tried to get out of her reach but her anger made her a dangerous opponent. He jumped to the side but found her blade had reached him. His blood was spilling on the floor, he turned to her.
"You will join your son witch!" he called, she laughed.
"I will tear you limb from limb and feast upon your still beating heart!" She screamed.
The two clashed again, with their swords connecting. Dumas tried to push her away, but found her hatred was stronger. Her tail found his leg, wrapped around it and pulled. His leg gave way to his weight and fell with Malice upon him. His hand lost the grip on his sword and it fell as the fire in the room closed in on them. She slipped her sword upon her neck.
"Can you feel your death?" She asked, "You killed my son, my little boy! You destroyed an innocent life! Now I will claim your soul for his! I will sent you to your pitiful god!"
The three Martian bikes burst in the burning room and skidded to a stop.
"CHASSIE!" Vinnie yelled, "STOP!"
"Not until his blood covers the ground!" She yelled without glancing back
"Chassie, you don’t have to kill him!" Throttle cried as he got off his bike with the child in his arms.
"I must! Honor calls for his blood!"
He crouched beside her and looked at her, her eyes were nothing more than living flames and locked in gaze at the elf.
The child looked at her with a puzzled look, "Mummy?"
Malice stood still at the name, "Tyke?"
She turned her head at Throttle and saw the child in his arms.
"Tyke?" She said in a soft tone as she stared at the child, "But…you died."
"He didn’t die Chassie, he’s here, waiting for you to hold him." Throttle whispered.
Malice turned to Dumas and then back at her son, "No…this is some type of trick!"
"It’s no trick sweetheart. Please, put down the sword." Vinnie said as he carefully approached his sister.
Suddenly, Malice began to laugh, "You take me for a fool Dumas! You think an illusion of my son would stop me from killing you? You are the fool!"
"Chassie this isn’t some trick! Tyke’s real and right here!" Modo yelled.
"Die Dumas!" Malice shouted as she applied pressure to her blade.
A small cry called to her inside her mind, Mummy!
She turned to the child again and saw his blue eyes glow and his red attennas glow as well.
Mummy! The child called again.
Tyke? Malice said as she used her telepathy to investigate the child’s mind.
Love filled her mind as tears fell from her blue eyes. She flung her blade across the room and wrapped her arms around her child.
"Oh Tyke, I thought you were dead!" She cried.
Throttle embraced them, "He didn’t die in the explosion, a dragon saved him. Chassie, you need to know what happened to Lola. Your Matron had her hand in it."
"What?" She asked.
"That’s right." Said Vinnie as he applied his full weight to his foot and caused Dumas to yell out in pain, "Your Matron got your friend killed and took Lola’s soul out of her body so that her mother would help her get you back. She convinced you that everything would be OK if you took the dark powers back."
"Tirra did this?" Malice asked with disbelief in her voice.
"Yes. She wants you to kill Dumas because she never had a better killer than you before. You brought a lot of money into the house, she didn’t want to loose that." Said Modo.
Malice stood up, "That bitch! I’m going to rip her a new mouth!"
"What about this fuck-head?" Vinnie asked as he looked at the elf.
"You can't kill him Chassie, you'll end up belonging to the darkness or something like that." Said Throttle.
"I have to kill him Throttle. If I don't, he'll end up after me and try to kill me. For the safety of my child I must kill him." Said Malice as she stared at her son.
"But you can't! Please Chassie, I couldn't bear to loose you again!" Throttle shouted, "We have a kid together! Are you going to let me raise him by myself?"
Malice turned to him, "When Carbine told me that you were captured by the Plutarkians, I faced facts and began to raise this child without you. There was no way that Carbine or Stoker were going to make a surprise attack on them to rescue you. This child was going to be raise without his father, what else was I supposed to do?"
Throttle stood close to her, "We're here now, together. We can raise this kid together, like it was ment to be."
Malice shook her head, "I don't think I can. I've been something else for a long time. I don't know if I can let go of the evil that lives inside of me."
"Yes you can! We're all here for you Chassie, together we can do anything!" Throttle spoke.
"I don't know if I can." She whispered.
"Chassie, remember when you took off for medical school?" Throttle asked.
"Yeah?"
"We stayed up all night talking about it-just you and me. You were so scared about leaving your dad and brother alone with the threat of war around us. You didn't think you could ever handle the studies and the workload. But you did. You graduated at the top of your class with honors. When you started to work for the army, you were in charge of the infirmary and even Carbine's father took orders from you. If you could do that, than you can stop this killing and return home with us and...we can be a family."
Malice smiled at him, "You think so?"
He held her in his arms, "I know so babe. I always had faith in you."
"Um, what about this thing under my foot?" Vinnie asked again.
Malice handed Tyke to Throttle and walked towards Dumas, "You guys take Tyke and get out of here."
"You can't kill him!" Modo shouted.
"Oh I won't kill him. Get out now and wait for me on the street." Malice said again as she held up her hand revealing a globe of black flames.
"What are you going to do?" Vinnie asked as he moved towards his bike.
"I'm going to renovate this building." She said with a smile.
The three biker mice mounted their bikes and proceeded out the window, Malice smiled at the fallen elf.
"You have three seconds to get out of here with your life. If I ever see you again or if you ever try to harm my family, I will feast upon your blood. Heed my words prey."
Dumas nodded and lifted himself from the ground and fled the building.
"Three, two, one...blast off!" Malice shouted as the flame grew larger and engulfed the room. Black flames turned red as it consumed the surrounding walls. The fire danced around the dark mouse but it didn’t harm her. Glowing red debry fell from the roof as Malice walked slowly out the door.
"One good turn deserves another." She sang as she hopped playfully down the stairs.
***************************************
Throttle turned to the flaming building, "What the fuck is she doing?"
Vinnie smiled, "Looks like what we would do if this was Limburger's tower."
Modo laughed, "Yep, she's one of us."
The three stared up at the building as it began to crumble under the flames.
"Do ya think she's OK?" Modo asked.
"I hope so. We can't tell with her anymore." Said Vinnie.
"Yes we can. She didn't kill him. I would know if she did." Said Throttle.
The three saw something walk towards them from the building. Walking with pride and pose, Malice strolled up to them. She smiled as she raised her hand and snapped her fingers. The building collapsed to the ground, creating a pile of embers.
"How's that for fire power?" She giggled.
"Let's go home." Throttle, but it seemed that Malice had another plan.
"I want you guys to meet me at the hospital. I go to visit someone." She said.
"Chassie, enough is enough. Let's just go home." Throttle explained.
"I can't yet. I have to get Lola's soul back into her body. Her mother is like a second mother to me. I have to help her."
"No fucken way sis!" Vinnie shouted.
"We'll meet you there Chassie." Throttle stated.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" Vinnie shouted at his bro, "WE'RE GOING TO JUST LET HER GO OFF ON HER OWN AFTER WHAT HAPPENED HERE TONIGHT?!"
"Vince please, I have to do this." Malice said.
"Let her go Vincent." said Throttle.
"Chass, I am not going to loose you again." Vinnie said in a soft voice.
"You won't loose me Vince. I will be there and we will all leave together. I need to do this." She said to her over protective brother.
"You give me your word on mom's grave that you will be at the hospital." Said Vinnie.
"I promise on Mom's grave that I will meet you there. Nothing on this planet will stop me from getting back with my family." She said to reinsure him.
She whistled high and her bike drove to her. She mounted the black steed and fitted her helmet on her head. She gave a 'thumb's up' at her son and he replicated the motion. The Martian machine spun around and roared down the street out of sight.
"She's going to kill the house of dragon, isn't she?" Vinnie asked.
"I don't know." Throttle voiced.
*********************************************
The bike thundered towards the old mansion. Malice raised her hand towards the gates and shot a fire ball towards it. The blast melted the iron bars allowing her to enter. She drove up the steps and busted in the house. She stopped her steed in the front room.
"I'M HOME!" She yelled.
The matron with her daughter beside her entered the hall with great grins on their faces.
"I take it that you killed Dumas?" Matron Tirra asked her executioner.
"You know, a funny thing happened to me on my way to work today. My brother showed up today with his friends and...my son." Said Malice as she drew out her sword.
The Matron had a surprised look on her face, "Your son is alive?"
"Yeah." The Executioner said as she approached the Matron, "and you know what I found out tonight? You have Lola's soul. I WANT IT BACK!"
"Malice dear child, I would never harm your friends!" Tirra tried to convince her.
"Bull fucken shit. You have three seconds to return her soul or I'll tear you apart!"
"Mother, her will was broken! How could she escape Lloth's power?" said Nadia.
"You forgot about one little important piece of information. Love will always break any spell, be it from mortal or goddess." Said Malice.
"I will kill you for your disloyalty slug!" Shouted Tirra as she grabbed the hilt to her snake whip and lashed at the mouse. The four snake heads imbedded their fangs into Malice’s sword arm. She grinned as she pulled her arm up and examined the snakes.
"It doesn’t hurt. I don’t feel a thing." Malice said with amazement.
"That cannot be!" Nadia exclaimed.
"Uh yeah it can. You see, Lloth has lost her hold on me because she isn't my god. It's funny you know, I wasn't her Champion after all. And her magic can’t harm me." She shouted, "and by the way, all that stuff about being the chosen one, that’s all bull shit right?"
The two elven women nodded their heads.
"Now...the soul please."
The Matron slid her hand in her robes and drew out a small clear globe. She handed to Malice.
"You will regret this Malice." She shouted as Malice walked out with her bike trailing behind.
Malice walked out the melted gates as she threw the ball up into the air and caught it in her hand.
"YOU SEEM JOYOUS CHILD OF MARS." The voice called out from the woods.
Malice jumped out and stared towards the forest. A haunting glow called to her and she crept slowly towards it. As she cleared the brush, her jaw dropped at the sight of the armor clad giant who stood before her. She knelt down looked at the forest floor in respect of the god. Every fiber of her being knew who this creature was.
"Ares, god of war. I kneel humbly before you." She said.
"YOU TRULY ARE A GIFTED WARRIOR CHASSDZYA VAN WHAM. I HAVE CHOSEN WISELY." The god spoke.
"What do you wish from me my lord?" She asked.
"YOU HAVE DONE YOUR GOD PROUD. IT IS I WHO WISH TO SERVE YOU."
"Hun?" Malice looked up, "I don't get it?"
"I WILL REMOVE THE CURSE THAT LLOTH HAS BESTOWED UPON YOU. YOU WILL BE FREE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE MY CHILD. YOU HAVE BEEN REUNITED WITH YOUR FAMILY. REJOICE MY CHILD, YOU MAY REST."
The god took his mighty hand and placed it over her, a warm wave of power swept over the young mouse. Her black hair turned white and long, the black mark on her face faded as her eyes shone blue.
Tears fell from her eyes, "I'm free."
"YES CHILD, YOU ARE NOW FREE FROM THE CLAWS OF LLOTH. RETURN TO YOUR HOME WITH YOUR BELOVED."
Chassie saw the God flash in a bright light, and vanished. She smiled as she stood up and walked towards her bike laughing all the way.
"Thank you Ares! Thank you so much!" She shouted to the heavens as she mounted her bike. She noticed that her hip was lighter, she looked down and saw the sword had vanished. She wore the old blue jeans and Throttle’s leather jacket. A small leather pouch hung where the sword was. She opened it and smelled the sweet scent.
"The Magical Pouch of Aco Poco! Cool!" She laughed again.
"Black, take me to the hospital."

"She should have been back by now Throttle." Vinne said as he paced around the room.
"She will come child, fear not." Said Matron Festa.
"And how would you know?" Vinnie snapped back.
"Your god has kept his eye upon her...and you three." She answered.
"What god? We have no gods?" Throttle questioned.
"How did your people came to me? Who created you?" She questioned him.
"We evolved just like you did." Said Modo.
"No child, we elves were created by gods just as you Martians were."
The opened and the inhabitants all looked, Chassie entered the room with a smile on her face as she showed the glass orb.
"Chassie!" Throttle said as wrapped his arms around her.
Vinnie also embraced his sister with Throttle, "I knew you would make it!"
Modo turned to Festa, "Just like Vinnie."
Throttle finaly let go of her, she turned to Festa, "I got her soul."
"Excelent! Hand it here child." Festa said as she took the ball from Chassie.
The old Matron placed the ball upon Lola's chest. She then knelt in front of her daughter and began to pray. The ball began to glow and a faint light pased from the ball and entered Lola. Moaning rose from her red lips as the elf opened her eyes.
"Mother?" She asked as she tried to rasie herself from the be, "What happened here?"
"Lola! The Matron shouted as she hugged her child.
Chassie moved away from Throttle and showed herself to her friend, "Hey girlfriend."
Lola stared at her, "Mal? Is that you?"
"Yeah, this is what I really look like."
"Wow! What a change. But what happened to me? The last thing I remember is...Oh Mal...I'm so sorry about Rastlin." Spoke Lola.
"Don't worry about it, he did live a good life. Hey, I want to introduce you to someone."
Chassie bent over and gently picked up her son, Tyke smiled at Lola as she stared in disbelief.
"I thought he was dead?" Lola whispered.
"No, we were wrong. He's here with me...and Throttle."
"Throttle's here?" Lola asked as she looked behind her friend.
She saw the three mice, "How did you get back here?"
"My great and wonderful girlfriend Charley got us here with Lola's spell book." Boasted Vinnie.
"She has a special gift." Festa mentioned.
"Now that order has been established here, can we go home?" asked Modo.
"I will send you all back now if you wish." Said Festa.
"That would be great." Said Throttle as he wrapped one arm around Chassie.
"Yeah, we need to get our lives back on track." She said back to her love.
"I'll miss you Mal." Said Lola as she hugged her.
"I'll miss you too Lola." Chassie turned to Festa.
"You were more than a friend to me. You've been more like a mother. I'll miss you."
Festa hugged her, "Take care daughter, you are destined for great things."
"I will." Chassie said with a crack in her voice.
"Now then, I will send you home." Festa said as she drew up her arms.
"Wait! What about our bikes?" Vinnie yelled.
"Fear not. I will sent them with you." Festa said as the Martian group began to glow and disapear into the light. The light faded and all was left was Lola and her mother.
"They're going to be all right, Mother. Are they not?" Asked Lola.
Festa smiled, "They will be just fine."

Charley paced around the garage nervously, "I wonder what's taking them so long? I hope Malice didn't kill them...would she? I could get there...whereever there is. But what would I do? I'm no fighter, I would just get in their..."
Just then, the bright light appeared and dimmed in front of the startled human. The 4.5 mice stood there with their bikes behind them with smiles on their faces. Charley wrapped her arms around Vinnie and kissed him.
"I'm so glade you're home! I was so worried!" She shouted with tears in her eyes.
"Worried? Nothing can kill this mamajama sweetheart! I'm the best! I got news for you babe, you're an aunt." Vinnie said with a chuckle.
Charley pulled back from him, "What?"
"You're an aunt." He repeated as he pointed to the child in Chassie's arms.
"I'm an aunt?" She asked as she walked towards Chassie.
"His name is Tyke." Said Chassie.
"He's our child" Said Throttle with pride.
"You're a dad? Oh Throttle! I'm so happy for you!" Charley shouted as she hugged him.
"Ah think it's time to celebrate! Charley, bring out the root beer!" Modo yelled in his excitement.
"That's for sure big guy!" Throttle voiced as he looked at Chassie with loving eyes.
********************************************
Chassie sat on the rooftop of the garage with Tyke in her arms.
"That's Mars Tyke, where you were born." She said as she pointed to the tiny red star.
"I'll take you there after the Plutarkians are gone." She said to her child.
"The war is almost over, we could take him there pretty soon." Said Throttle as he sat beside her.
Tyke crawled to him and sat on his lap.
"Daddy?" he asked his father.
"Yeah, I'm your daddy." Throttle said with a smile.
"It's only been over six hours since you two met and he already knows you." Said Chassie.
"It's weird, but a good wierd. I never really took much thought about being a father before." Throttle replied.
"I find that hard to believe." Answered Chassie.
"I've talked about it with Vincent and Modo, but actually hold my child in my arms...it does something to ya."
"I know what you mean. The fist time he moved in my belly, I felt such joy. I had a hard time believing that a life grew inside of me until her moved. I couldn't express it."
"I don't want to miss another day with the two of you." Throttle said as he touched Chassie's face and traced her lips with his finger, "Chassie, I want you to marry me."
Chassie stared at him with a shocked expression on her face, "Marry? Are you serious?"
"Yeah! Why not? I don't want to loose you again...and I want to be with you always. Till death do us part."
"If you're only doing this because of Tyke..."
"I'm not! I really want to marry you-even if Tyke wasn't here."
"Throttle, I'll marry you if only we wait a year and let you think about it."
"OK, but I'll still want to marry you."
"Then we'll marry."
Throttle leaned over and kissed her.
"When the year it up, you'll be my wife."
"And you’ll be my husband."
The end.
*************************************************************
"Great! It's over. Now I can't have any more fun!"
"Well, you'll just have to wait until part four."
"What about part three?"
"You won't like it. You don't kill anything."
"I hate you!"
"No you don't."
