I do not own the Biker Mice from Mars. Again I write because it's a relaxing pass time and like sharing my over active imagination with any one who will be kind enough to give this a read.

Allie is my creation and please if you get the over whelming urge to use her in a story, which I doubt, please ask permission first.

Allie

By Morning

2000

The night was quiet for a change no goons trying to blow her head off, no buildings falling down around her, just blissful peace and quiet.

Charlene Davidson owner of the Last Chance Garage had settled down for an evening of good music, a good book and no mice.

She had practically threatened them with death if they even so much as showed their face unless it was the end of civilization, as they knew it.

She really loved the big furry pains but enough was enough. She just had to have some time for herself. No crazy roughhouse game that left her garage looking like a war zone. No pig feast that left her kitchen an indescribable mess.

Charley had taken a warm bubble bath, fixed herself a nice chicken dinner, and put on the softest, smoothest jazz she could find; a little "Kenny G" fit the bill perfectly.

In her fluffy terry cloth robe and faithful bunny slippers she snuggled down in her oversize couch, opened her copy of "Men are From Mars Women Are From Venus" and was as close to perfection as any women could possible be.

She was 15 minutes into her book when, life being what it is, and there was a knock on her door.

"I am not going to answer it! I am not going to answer it," Charley pulled her robe over her head.

Again she heard the knock a little louder this time. But still refusing to move she reached up and switched off the light.

"I think that will give them a hint, I don’t want to be bothered." She sat dead still in the darkness.

A few more knocks and it stopped. After about ten minutes Charley smiled triumphantly reached up and turned the light back on and went back to her book. But then she heard a funny soft bumping at the door. At first she ignored it but it happened again. She slams the book shut and fumed toward the door.

"Okay Van Wham I know it’s no body but you. You couldn’t even give me one lousy night to my…" Charley grabbed the door and threw it open a soft almost cooing sound made her look down. At her doorstep was a child. Charley gasped and stepped over the little body to see if she could see anyone who might have left the child. But the street was deserted not a trace of anyone.

Turning to take a closer look at the sleeping little form, that couldn’t have been more then 4 or 5 at the most, she was dumfounded this being no ordinary little girl. Her face and hands were covered in soft charcoal gray fur. Unmistakable red antenna stuck out of her thick head of black hair and Charley had to be careful not to step on her tail.

Taking her into the garage she laid her on the couch and went back out to bring in a large bag and doll. Even the toy was not an earth creation but a replica of the Martian Cave mouse population Charley had come to know existed. Putting the doll into the little arms the child instinctively wrapped them around it curling into a self-protecting ball. Charley got a blanket and put it over the sleeping little stranger.

At the score board the Biker Mice from Mars where having some down time of their own. Throttle was working on his bike while Modo and Vinnie were on their 10th arm wrestling match. Vinnie being the worse for wear having been pinned all 10 times by his stronger and larger bro. The radio buzzing, Vinnie flying across the room in his 11th lose, Throttle stops his repairs long enough to answer.

"Hey Charlie girl didn’t think we’d be hearing from you tonight?"

Charley could hear the sound of some ones body hitting against a hard object.

"Hey Throttle sounds like you guys are having fun?"

"Let’s just say Modo is. What can I do for you?" Throttle smiled as he watched Vinnie hit the other wall.

"Well I know I said I wanted tonight for myself but I think you guys better come on over here there is something you need to see."

As Throttle hung up and before he could say anything, like he had radar Vinnie was on his bike and ready to get to Charlie’s. It didn’t matter what the reason.

Modo and Throttle just shook their heads at Vinnie’s eagerness to get to the women he swears up and down is just like any other of the hundreds of women he’s known.

Charley sat watching the little mouse and wonders what would push anyone to have to abandon such a sweet looking child. Before long she could hear the sound of the guys bikes getting closer. Jumping she heads out the door to stop them outside so they won’t wake and frighten the child. They screeched to a halt just outside the garage door.

"Hey Charley babe, was being away from me so bad you couldn’t wait until I came in, understandable I have that effect." Vinnie said grinning his flashiest hero smile.

Charley sighed and looked at him with a deadpan expression, "Oh please Vinnie hit the reality track a little, huh? "

Vinnie with an almost hurt expression sat back down on his bike pouting like a three-year-old. Modo just rolled his eyes wondering when the two where going to be honest enough to admit they were crazy about each other.

"So what’s the big concern." Charley girl.

"I think you guys are going to have to see this one, but be quiet I don’t want you to wake her."

Once inside the three mice were shocked to see a Martian child sleeping peacefully in Charlie’s living room.

"I guess it would be stupid to ask if you know her?" Throttle said as he pulled his hand through his hair not knowing what else to say. Charley only looked at him in total agreement.

Modo walked over and knelt down to get a closer look at her face and noticed that she was wearing an over size leather jacket with the freedom fighters patch on the sleeve. Smoothing her hair he smiled at how serenely she slept.

"Where could she have come from and how would anyone know to leave her here." The big mouse questioned to himself

"Why don’t you just wake the kid up and ask her?" Vinnie thoughtless suggested.

"You know Vinnie sometimes I am surprised at how really insensitive a knuckle head even you can be." Charley said as she glared at him.

"No Vincent we can wait until the morning. For some reason she looks like she needs to rest as long as possible." Throttle said with unsurprising tenderness as he pulled the blanket up around the little ones neck.

"You guys wanna bunk out down here so you can be here when she does wake up. I have some sleeping bags. And Vinnie if you say one wise crack I will tie your tail around your neck and strangle you with it." Vinnie just smiled sheepishly and thought it better to let this one slide.

Later that night:

As the night drew on and in the mist of total quiet, unless one counted the different breathing sounds of each sleeping mouse, a tiny cry was heard. The little stranger was fighting some thing or some one with all her might.

Vinnie the only one to hear the small cry got up and peeked from the garage into the living room. He watches as the little girl fought the air and struggled pitifully to escape some horror only her mind could see. Looking to see if his bro were really asleep he walked quietly to the child’s side. In a whispery voice very much out of character he comforted the shaking little form.

"Hey little one it’s okay. You don’t have to be scared we won’t…. I won’t let anyone hurt you." He sat on the floor next to the couch and softy stroked her hair. "SHHHH… it will be alright you can sleep safe here." Vinnie continued to stay by the child’s side until she settled back into a peaceful sleep.

Even when she was asleep he sat with his chin on his knees watching her still smoothing her hair. He put his head down like he was trying not to remember a past horror of his own. After a few more moments he rearranged the covers she kicked off in her struggles, got up and walked back to the garage looking over his shoulder making sure she was really quieted.

Sitting at the top of the stairs hidden in the darkness Charley watched him and how he dealt with the child.

"Will I ever figure you out Vinnie?" She sighed then got up and went back to her own bed.

With the arrival of morning Charley was the first up and dressed she wanted to check on her new little houseguest, though she still hadn’t awaken.

"Well I’d might as well get some food ready for those walking stomachs."

As she heads for the kitchen she is startled by the tiny voice that came from behind her ……."Hello Miss Charley."

Wheeling around she sees the little girl sitting up smiling at her. The child was strikingly beautiful. Long full lashes framed her almost clear gray eyes and the thick black curls that encircled her face made her look like a delicate porcelain doll.

"H-h-how do you know my name?" Charley questioned.

"I know all of your names Throttle, Modo and Vinnie. I know you all very well." She smiled with an odd far away look in her eyes.

As the child spoke the guys come into the living room all are surprised at not only by her looks, but also in how adult she sounds.

"What’s your name lil darlin?’ Modo asks as he sits next to her.

"You are Modo." As she speaks her hands reach up and begin to feel his face. "Your face is kind and gentle. Just like she said it would be."

"She’s blind!" Vinnie attempts to whisper.

"Yes I am Vinnie but don’t let that scare you, it doesn’t scare me, anymore." She smiles. "My name is Alexandra but you can call me Allie."

"Who told you about us Allie?" Throttle says taking a seat on the child's other side.

"Throttle," she turns and before she examines his face removes his specks. Like she expected them to be there.

"Your face is strong and serious, too serious sometime I’ll bet. She told me about all of you and said that you would be able to get me home, get us all home. That's why she left me here."

Charley kneels down in front of her, "You mean Mars Allie, you think they can get you back to Mars."

"Yes, they have too! If they don’t they will come and get me and take me back to… to….that place. They will continue to hurt all the others." Never had one child’s voice been filled with so much horror.

"You have to help us….. Please….PLEASE," Allie was now shaking in terror.

Charley picks her up and cradles her tightly in her arms, "No.. no.. we won’t let anyone hurt you. You don’t have to worry you are safe here with us." Walking past Vinnie putting the child in his arms; "You hold her while I get something to calm her down."

At first he tries to act annoyed but as the weeping little figure lies shaking in his arms he holds her tighter and whispers to her. "She’s right small fry. You are safe with me."

Modo and Throttle at first looked puzzled but then chalk it up to another side of Vinnie he'd decided to hide from the world. Walking over to the couch and trying hard not to look at his bros. Vinnie sits with the little girl in his lap. She having wrapped her arms around his neck.

"V-V-Vinnie, you are Vinnie." Knowing fingers move from his neck to his face softly searching his features seeing more of him than most would.

"Do you want to talk about it now little one. We can help better if we know more about what happened to you." Modo smiles reassuringly at her.

"I am fine now I will tell you as much as I can."

Vinnie starts to put her down on the couch but she clings desperately to him. And even though blind her eyes still looked towards him with a plea to let her keep her place of security. His heart having been captured by those eyes let's her stay, even holding her a bit more secure.

Charley back with a little warm milk places it in her hands. Allie smiles and sips slowly trying to get everything clear in her mind so that they would understand what she had been through. Why she had to make it clear not only her life but the lives of so many were at stake. Her voice now calm and quiet she begins to relive how she had gotten to earth and the beginning of the nightmare.

"It was just after the government had given most of our planet to the Plutariakns. They told my family that we would be safe that they wouldn’t let anything happen to us. But they lied. The government left us at the unmerciful hands of those monsters. They came and took us from our house both my parents and my sister, I could see then. They put my parents and sister on one ship. Along with some other children I was put on another. They put us in this big room and put us all to sleep with this gas that made our eyes burn at first.

When I finally woke up I was in this steel room and they had strapped me on this cold table. There was a doctor who examines me and said I would make of fine subject for what he needed then the experimenting started.

I could hear the other children crying and I started to cry myself but they didn’t care they just laughed and called us names.

It went on and on forever the only time it stopped is when one of the children was experimented on too much…." Her voice trembling once more. "T-T-They had to find out why. It was…. It was….right after…after that they t-t-took my eyes. B-b-but something went…wrong and even thought the eyes didn't work I began to get more and more intelligent. It had something t-t-to do with the chemicals they used so…… my body won't reject….. the eyes. They experiment more and more on me….. it was so bad….I just… it was just…..so ..very…bad." her voice trailed off into sobs that came from a place within her filled with too much fear and pain."

"No more! She doesn’t have to talk about it any more," Vinnie demanded.

"It's okay baby girl. It's okay." Vinnie calmed her gently.

"Don’t worry Allie darlin' who ever these creeps are we are going to put them out of business and get the rest of the kids away from them." Modo was sick with anger. He touched her on the head and had to leave out of the room. His hand balled in a fist so tight his nails dug into his flesh.

Charley stood in shock. Not wanting to believe that even the Plutarkian's could have been so cruel. Throttle stood up and put an arm around Charlie’s quaking shoulders to comfort her and gain his own balance.

"How could they?" she whispered in almost disbelief. "What kind of hideous creatures are they." Her voice in tears. She breaks away from Throttle running up to her room so Allie wouldn’t hear her.

Vinnie placing Allie gently in Throttle’s arms follows Charley up the stairs.

He quietly approaches her bedroom and sees Charley crying lying across her bed. He at first just stands by the door and watches her. Then walks over to her and sits down next to her.

" You okay Charley girl?" Knowing it was a stupid question but hoping she’d understand what he was attempting to do.

" How could you have survived it. It must have been horrible for you."

She said through the sobs and sniffles.

"It wasn’t no walk in the park but we survived."

He takes on a gravely serious voice then continues. "But she is why we are still here. Why we can’t leave until those murderous bottom feeders are stopped. They have already taken our world, destroyed so many of our people, our children. We can’t let them do it here."

Vinnie was another person as he spoke those words. And for the first time Charley understood what drove him to be what he was. She touches his face and smiles, " You aren’t so tough Hot Shot?" Then kisses him softly on the cheek.

He shrugs, no smart quips, no wise cracks just sits looking at the floor. Charley gets up, take his hand and sits next to him on the bed. They don’t say anything, nor do anything they merely sit quietly. Vinnie letting her see what very few have been allowed, get closer that any one has been allowed, other than his bros. Charley knowing that their relationship would never be the same after this takes his hand and hold it warmly.

"You want to talk about it a little more." She says hopefully giving him enough confidence to let her in a little more.

"No not now Charley girl but one day soon, I promise." He tenderly smiles at her. A smile unlike any she's seen on his face before.

"Okay soon, but maybe we need to go see about Allie she was still pretty upset." Charley smiles. He nods in agreement.
